JPBX 503 rescues JPBX 925 from Burlingame Station on New Years Day

On New Year’s Day, JPBX 925 was running its usual service on Caltrain 256 when out of no where it unexpectedly broke down at Burlingame. JPBX 503 responded to it and came to into Burlingame about an hour and a half after it broke down. JPBX 503 coupled up to 925 and eventually pulled it back to CEMOF.

Alstom must've done a bad job rebulilding the MP36 engines of Caltrain

Fr it does seem like they have did not super well on the MP36 rebuilds.

They should have been sent back to Boise, who built them, and had them rebuild them. Why Alstom would be allowed to touch anything with their shoddy reputation is beyond me.

@@canyontiger4022 Caltrain contracted Alstom to overhaul the all the mp36 locomotives, they overhauled the f40ph-2cs before that. 920-928 will stay for the Gilroy service since electrification won't go beyond Tamien. 923 is the last unit that is yet to be sent out for overhaul. 928 is currently getting overhauled as if now.
