Bret Weinstein: I will be vindicated over Covid

  • Freddie Sayers sits down to discuss the pandemic response with biologist Bret Weinstein.
    Read the supporting article: unherd.com/thepost/bret-weins...
Listen to the podcast version: shows.acast.com/lockdowntv-wi...
Before the pandemic, evolutionary biologist and former Evergreen professor Bret Weinstein was lauded by both sides of the political divide for his insights into the crisis on American campuses. As a member of the so-called 'intellectual dark web', Weinstein was expanding his audience and being profiled by legacy media like the New York Times.
Then the pandemic began and his heterodox perspective suddenly fell out of favour, even with many of his erstwhile allies.
Advocating for alternative treatments for Covid, questioning the efficacy of the global vaccine programme and challenging narratives of the pandemic came at a cost. Without warning, the Dark Horse podcast was demonetised on TH-cam and Weinstein was forced to split from the views of his former friends and supporters.
So, how can we seek truth in such divided times? Freddie Sayers invited Bret into the UnHerd studio in London to try to understand what his views really are.

My grandmother died at age 98. She lived through 2 world wars, had 3 children. She never went near a doctor, let alone vaccines. She knew all about cooking and alternative medicine. I never saw such a healthy person in my life. She diied at home of old age. Look around now, how many healthy people are there? Teenage obesity is sky high, diabetes, etc etc. Modern medicine needs a complete renewal.

Of course you 'strongly' agree. It's an emotional argument to support him. He was embarrassing on ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine. He was calling all variants 'escaped variants' which is a lie. He was actually arguing last summer that the vaccine didn't work. He's a laughing stock the way he wilfully nuked his reputation. Even his brother, who is a renowned contrarian, has publicly denounced him.

My country was falling apart with protest against the government and the president. Such corrupt people insulting their own people and acting with such violence. The president had less than 3% of approval. Then the plandemic happened and everybody was on their houses and military on the streets. Chile was one of the first countries that had the first vaccine and my dad who previously hated the president now was saying "hey he brought the vaccine, thats cool". Or, if you like, to not make folks think.
Thought creates understanding, which leads to truth surfacing, which in turn leads to folks standing up.
      Can't have that:
Indoctrinating the masses, lying to them, misinforming them, cheating on them, spying on them, killing them, propagandising them, sheepifying them, stupidifying them, de-intellectualising them, ... .
You're a good citizen when you got impossible debts, walk the line, never question the "leaders", nod and do as told.

I followed Bret from the beginning of COVID. He was the first one wearing a cloth mask, and he was giving tips on how to socially distance, including pulling up his mask when passing people outside.
As more information came out, he started splitting off further and further from the official guidance until they tried to punish him for it, then he kicked it into overdrive because, luckily, Bret is the kind of guy that yells louder if you tell him to shut up.

The numbers are available for anyone clever enough to push keys on a laptop - since vaccines were introduced, those states, countries, territories, counties, cities and towns with the highest vaccination rates have seen the biggest drop in COVID infections and deaths. It isn't complex, ambiguous or perplexing, but if you are a f****ng cretin, you might still miss the obvious. BTW, Cuba has a 100% COVID vaccination rate and 8 COVID deaths in last three months. Kansas has a quarter of Cuba's population, a 61% vaccination rate, and a thousand COVID deaths in past 3 months (and lotsa Bret Weinstein fans!)

For me personally, the whole COViD response and mandating of vaccines really shook me into a state of awakedness that has forced me to view things very differently than I did two years ago. I want to acknowledge the bravery and honesty of people like Mr Weinstein and all those that have simply sought to maintain open and honest scientific debate but it is scary how such people have been demonised by mass media, government agencies and big pharma. It still staggers me how the issue of informed consent was swept aside in the COViD response and I pray that any harms caused by these ineffective and experimental vaccines are less than seems to be the emerging case. To gaslight those victims is simply heinous and my heart goes out to them and I can only hope that someone will fight for justice for each and every one of them.

Now imagine how it has been for those of us forewarning of all this over 10 years ago but strongly 4 years ago. Everyone I warned ignored. So I say to them now, we get what we deserve. If willful ignorance or following the herd and cowardice triumph over reason, honesty and courage, they're isn't much hope for humanity. Indifference and apathy are letting the evil prevail. Humans want to react after damage is done instead of preempt it. I believe this is because humans live by narratives, they want drama and conflict is a massive part of narrative. Rather than an approach of taking part in a story, we need a reality check. This interview although nice to see, was careful in what it said, tippy toeing around the facts and holding punches. It's a YT channel so that is to be expected. The new alternative media must acquire all YT content crestors if there is to be any hope of open debate, enquiry, speech, and we need several platforms, which is starting to happen. Why the difference in covid policies in UK and in Canada right now? Why there is no consensus in that regard around the world?? Canada has the same vaccination rate as the UK so no one can argue that Canada is still demanding vaccination proof for anyone who wants to travel by train and plain ( inside and outside the country) based on law vaccination rates . More so, if a unvaccinated Canadian wants to return to Canada via land or air, he is going to be fined and quarantined

Heather and him have said so many things and explained so many ideas that I actually had myself but wasn't capable of putting into words since I obviously like most of us lack the scientific background to understand what this pandemic was actually about. As a Reg Nurse of 38 yrs in Australia, I am still not allowed to return to my CCU/ICU/ED positions in this country, simply because I held reservations about the experimental vaccine, that still remain unaddressed. I declined to buckle under duress and coercion to receive the experimental stuff into my body, and am so glad that I did decline it. I had Covid-19 in July 2022, and was pleased that the high-dose Vit D and daily Zinc and Magnesium and Vit C etc, got me through in 6 days - completely normal in 10 days. What's wrong with that?
Why couldn't I go back to work after having the virus?
I have offered to have RAT testing - even twice a day (tongue-in-cheek) - if necessary, but there is no will to overcome the now hidden mandates and prejudice.
I say "hidden" because while the Australian Government has removed the vaccine mandates, almost universally, industry and enterprise have writtien the mandate into work contracts and conditions - euphemistly described as "Conditions of Employment."
So I went from being a serious taxpayer, to a nothing. I am now a washed-up aged pensioner, who is willing and able to return to my beloved nursing roles, but stymied by the ignorance and persistent bastardry foisted on me by Australian bureaucrats, who wouldn't know "science" if it was shoved up their ... er ... nose!
A lifetime of knowledge I carry in my head is, I despair, going to die with me, instead of being shared with my colleagues and patients.
      This the Australian government.
And yes, I too pray more than previously. God is our strength and help in times of trouble.

One that comes to mind treated 6000 covid patients during the pandemic, of which only 4 died (all 4 were previously seriously ill). He was under investigation because he visited some of them at home. Doctors like him were heros..now they're being treated like villains. Something is very wrong. That group of doctors has been treating people since March 2020. If we'd followed them the death toll would likely have been 60-80% lower.

I couldn’t agree with you more! I find that the vast majority of the genuine treating doctors around the world are at the top of their field and can not only think critically, but will not compromise their integrity, and have indeed saved nearly everyone they treated regardless of age or comorbidities. They are in their profession for all the right reasons and none of the wrong ones. Unfortunately, Covid has revealed they are the exception.
It deeply saddens me that so many brilliant doctors have lost their careers (or had them severely compromised) simply for wanting to understand this disease, save lives and do no harm. This has been especially true in those countries that are still pushing mandates and banning repurposed treatments to this day - like here in Australia. Now we are left with doctors that we know are clearly not critical thinkers or are unwilling or simply afraid or have flat out refused to question what has been imposed upon them. I feel sad for them too (and their staff). It’s all so unbelievably sad.
I am at least grateful for this deeply considered interview (on both sides), and for a number of Australian doctors finally speaking out in recent weeks (on platforms that don’t indulge in censorship). A more conspiracy theory minded person might say we are now able to talk about it because it has served its purpose and other "one narrative to rule them all" distractions to serve another purpose are already in place. What struck me in this interview was when Bret mentioned this "pre-prepared narrative". Well, within a few hours of an event that one can't talk about now, which happened in february, I was awestruck by the barrage of clearly pre-prepared articles that must have taken weeks to write and carefully craft that appeared across all the Czech media, all painting together precisely just one possible narrative. The machine goes on. One narrative and problem after another, always forcing just one view and solution upon everybody, always working towards removing people's freedoms and bolstering the grip of the machine over how everyone is "meant" to live and think. There is a clear line that goes through all these seemingly unrelated issues. And it does lead to what were highest level conspiracy theories just 2 years ago. It is time people admitted that to be the case.

As a RN with a history of vaccine injury and experienced Covid-19 prior to the shot(s) roll out, nothing my Western Medicine physicians suggested helped me heal. I used my scientific mind to research and sought out those who were persecuted for their vocalizations, like Brett, and from them, I found healers far more competent. Also, I refused to get the shots as an RN and fought their mandate and won.

I tried to change my hospitals policies from the inside ie., give patients hydroxy as soon as they arrive in ED. That failed and got me in trouble, then I quit as an anaesthetics trainee and became a staff grade in another part of the country near a beach! I nearly couldn’t take up that job as I wasn’t vaccinated and the health service was about to mandate it, but backed down at the last minute, which meant I didn’t have to give up my career but instead now I carry on. Working very few hours and waking up to glorious views every day, and raising my kids by the ocean, without a 5g mast in sight :D

Brett Weinstein, Dr. Atlas, Dr. Malone and so many others became heroes of our times helping those of us who were forced to lose our careers over wicked mandates stay sane. We all need to be vindicated and our careers restored: medical professionals, educators, government workers, police, etc. - these mandates were nothing but getting rid of those with common sense, strong faith, and ability to think critically and independently. As a result, we have blind followers and often mediocre workers taking over our jobs and careers. Is that the society they want to enjoy? Well, then, good luck on the path of sure self-destruction, folks!

Bret was a big promoter of Ivermectin even took it on his show, and said the pandemic would be “over tomorrow” if we all used it. Yes, and the world will not only stay that way, it will continue to get worse until people grow a backbone, this nightmare we are living through would end over night if enough people spoke out, we are building our own prison with our acquiesce.
There are a small number of people who do journalism as it should be done, ie, telling the truth, a few examples would be Unity News Network, Rebel News, UK Column, Tommy Robinson, paul Joseph Watson, there is nothing stopping anyone talking about anything except cowardice.

@@mlkekennedy5602 I would certainly agree that things will or can get worse. I think the backbone that is missing has to do with truth… most people are living their lives in lies… by that I will give you an example… when out shopping there will be the mother who is loudly speaking to her children who are misbehaving.. threatening them etc… the story she is telling us .. look at me I am such a good mother… when the reality is she is not a good parent at all because if she was her children would not be misbehaving… but she is going to cling to this story no matter what,, and when the school talks to her about her children’s behavior she will be adamant that they are wrong, as she is such a great parent and her children are great too… this story will continue all her life, so if, you want her to admit that the lies we are being told are just that, she will never be able to go there because now she will have to admit to herself that she too is a liar. So there is no point to waiting for too many people to get on board,, we need to wait for the outcome of the vaccination experiment to start to really hit home, then maybe…..
