I've had one where you reach your father, and he talks to you like some random friend because there's a cop in the room with him. Another where you get your sister where you talk about crossing. And a third where you reach a friend, who tells you something along the lines that most of your friends now hate you for your decision to cross

I assumed that the phone line would be tapped so I never did it. It gets much darker than than I expected.

There another I got where the father is happy you called and is happy your safe but tells you not to call again and that it’s unsafe to do so and to never tell him there location

I got a sad one where your dad supports your decision to cross and there's allegedly a legal authority next to him. And he presumably dies saying: "Keep going!" before hanging up.
