The good thing about these knives is that if the leaf spring breaks, you can actually change the leaf spring very easily. Buy a new one online (they sell them) and just take out the broken spring and slip the new one in there till it clicks. No disassembling the pinned knife either. These are the only old school leaf spring autos I know of where the leaf spring is replaceable and replaceable without taking apart the knife

I love these! So overlooked and under rated. Enjoy!

I had a cobra too, lightning CF. I regret selling every knife, I can’t see myself selling anything anymore lol

Holding up well, I actually used it a few times. Just make sure to use the correct oil when in need.

@@Momo-hy7qj what oil are you using I had trouble with wd40 and a silicon based oil with it being too heavy so much so one of the springs broke within 2 months of ownership, blade hq took great care of me and sent me a new one. when I got the new one I made sure to buy good knife oil I bought "KPL Knife Pivot Lube Ultra-Lite 5 Premium Oil Lubricant - 10ml". don't tell them but I took the one good spring out off the old knife before I sent it back so I have one spare in the future. also where to source springs I looked and could only find 2 places both over seas and both $90 just to ship.

@@Tr4dTV pVK usually has the replacement springs, call them, I use 1 very quick shot of Remington gun oil, once it is in the pivot, I use a can of compressed air (computer cleaner) to blow out all the excess, then wipe off really good.
KPL is a much better choice, that oil works very good with all of the pinned pivot switchblades.
