I’ve kind of mapped out the overdrive here: First overdrive - hit it on the first note after you get 3 charges Second overdrive - one charge. After the words “check it out” followed by a small break wait until the first double far left note and use it Third overdrive: use at three charges at the beginning of the next set of orange notes Last overdrive: one charge, use at start of words “it’s a jungle”
Idk how you and every other try hard (respectfully) learn the most optimal time to use overdrive for every instrument on every song. It’s genuinely impressive. I’ve been playing with KingBryce to try and learn from him and I’ve hardly picked up on his techniques
Is all about 2 things, first if you already lost your fc or don’t have a full multiplier using it would be useless and you wanna wait for when a lot of notes will happen, I used to use it on my favorite part of the song regardless of how many notes are there but that was when I was a stupid little kid, just play the songs and get a feel for where the notes get clustered, for drums and vocals it’s during the chorus, for bass and guitar it’s during main verses when you have a lot of patterns
I mean try hards are good but this guy charts every song in clone hero and uses a program that tells him the best optimal path. He still has to play the song tho. Some think it's cheating but in the end someone would find it anyway
To me it’s just a sense of feel when it comes to overdrive, if you are scared to lose your streak on the next part then that’s probably the best time to use overdrive 😂. That’s what I’ve done for this song especially, I act like I’m going to flawless it even if I may fail.
I've found 1.5x track speed to be a sweetspot for this song personally. Managed to get 5 stars with it on a few tries unlike on other track speeds, although that might just be because of practice. Didn't manage to get the dragon balls though.
youre able to change the speed of how fast the track moves (not the song itself) in the game settings, which makes the gaps between notes wider. many advanced players prefer it cause it can make it easier to time perfect notes@@a-onegamingtvyt4671
You can change the speed of the notes within your settings, they turn up the speed to make it easier for them to read it personally @a-onegamingtvyt4671

Why Fortnite gotta remove the sound effects when you reach to x6 of score, and the animations dancing
What settings do you use to make it easier to see in overdrive? The sides for me get so bright!

Tritonope 10 for the actual game but I don’t know if that does anything in the festival.
