    Thanks, Jake. Looking forward to the setup video. Good luck with the setup. I am trying to do something similar with 2 NV-linked 3090 and Nvme drive. Have to rewire my network and setup my vlans first, though. Did you find any good resources (besides discord) discussing benefits of various hardware and its impact on performance score (hard drive size, raid config, drive speed, ram size, etc?) Cheers!

      That could be mega if they need more vram than 24go be sure to get them a least x8 pcie gen4 each (x16 gen3) 😊

    Looking forward to hearing about your VastAI experience. I trust you’ll give a fair analysis of cost/profit. Also maybe I shoulda sold my crypto for a solar system, cause ever time you mention $0.04 electric I get real jelly 😂

      I’m going to track power consumption with the P4400 power meter and get precise data for 30 days. So glad I added solar, I would have not been able to continue without it.

      @@MineSum10 Awesome cause im honestly tired of seeing VastAI content until someone puts a damn watt meter on it lol. My 5959x plus a Radeon VII has been making $1-1.25/Day combined “income” @ 307w measured from the wall. Its break-even @ my electric rate, but at least I know what its doing. On a VastAi rig there is going to be down-time & it might be pulling 60-70w just sitting. The old Dell’s with Xeon’s that King is using are probably pulling 100w just sitting. Its very difficult to compare random VastAI usage, to constant mining usage. @ your $0.04 rate my 5959x/RadeonVII would be about $1/day profit for you. Comparing a CPU + GPU miner like have (as a complete setup), is much more comparable than others who only compare VastAI-GPU to GPU-Mining profits.

    This is not mining folks. It is data center reliability. If you don't have at least an intermediate understanding of Linux you might want to avoid getting into this.

    with your gpu and cpu combo i doubt you will get that much money per day. These numbers are only if you are going to get hired. SO i am assuming if no body hires you no one gives you no money. So zero profits. i am not sold to this Vast ai yet. Clearly the top earner here is vast ai. with %25 fee. :)

    • @MineSum10
      @MineSum10  ปีที่แล้ว

      Definitely agree with Vast being the clear winner here. Considering the amount of coverage this subject has gotten I agree the competition is gonna get stiffer. I will probably lower my rate to entice renters.

    All this time untill this video i didnt know what is POUW stands for. So hm its buy all theese expensive stuff and go on site where i can rent all off that for some tiny amount of money and upon all of that i need to pay electric cost ofc from my pocket. Wehere is any sence to this? How much did you drop for this build at least 5000k$ + sollar plant pff!!! Thats like + 10k$ at least!! So how the math works here for you m8 i realy wonna seee this??
