New Hampshire Hikes: Tripyramid Peaks Loop via North Slide Virtual Trail Guide

- The Tripyramid Peaks Loop goes up two official 4,000+ foot mountains in New Hampshire. On this hike Jackie and I ascended via the North Slide trail of Tripyramid Peak which is known as one of the most challenging in New Hampshire and descended via South Tripyramid Peak (an unranked 4,000 footer). This hike was about 11 miles RT with 2,900ft of elevation gain with some fun class 3 scrambling.

The North Slide was so memorable when I hiked it. Great video!
Did this one is 2021, and that first slabby half was wet from an overnight sprinkle. Slippery footing and nothing to grab. The day was gorgeous like yours, but that lower part doesn't get as much sun or wind. By the time we got to that transition at 6:17 the whole top portion was dry and a much more fun time. If shit gets too wild on this trail, you can climb through the trees on the left side and have way more to grab onto.
Yeah I bet this after rain is not super fun.

Is it pronounced with a long or shirt “I”? Try-pyramid or Trip- pyramid? You seem to go back and forth on it!
I am good at a lot of things, correctly pronouncing anything is not one of them. Believe it’s TRY tho.
