I think the biggest challenge for most women is not having a clue who they are or recognizing what looks good on them. Many base themselves as copying others or trying to be like someone else. The trick is to look at what another person has on and think - yes that item would look great on me, or hey its cute on her but would not work for me. I never was a "fad" person, only getting a popular thing if it really was flattering to me. All I know is I always complemented on how I dressed and no one ever laughed behind my back at how weird my clothes were.
