How are you doing guys during this crazy time? I really hope everyone is fine!
Here is another video I made a few months ago. Many of you asked me to make more videos in which I build, assemble, or simply craft something. Although it is always much more time consuming than making videos just with sounds I promise I'll try my best to come up with more ideas like this. If you have any suggestions for new videos please let me know in the comments below :)

Can I just say, no-one has ever paralleled asmr surge. No-one will ever parallel asmr surge. The audio quality, the visuals, the genius innovative ideas, the overall production. It is incredible.
I can agree with this but I would like to add ASMR Bakery to that. She too has great audio and visual quality, no talking. I highly suggest checking her out! She's one of my favorites.

I found what makes Surge's videos so wonderful: the sound quality has this warm and cozy quality to it, even with harsher sounds like plastic or aluminum foil crinkling. Every sound has a feeling like being cocooned in blankets and gently dozing off.
He mentioned in the description of one video that bass-boosting the audio tends to make it more pleasant to the ear, so that might be the explanation. Sounds with more low-frequency content are often described as "warm" in an audio engineering context.
Ive had such set as a child, it also had an automatic wheel that's spin everything. It was fun to make systems that would work, sometimes they didn't

The one I had was black and gray, primarily. I always used to try to crush my fingers between the automatic gear and the first one it rotated; I was a weird kid. Regardless, I, too, appreciate the memories.
Anyone still remember Lego Technic? Now THOSE were the days...especially since I repurposed most bricks into stuff I came up with on my and then lost them because I never put anything back in it's right place. XD

There’s something beautiful about savoring something so simple as the sound produced by an object. When I was a child, I had a few of these building sets - rudimentary as they were, they ranged broadly from wooden blocks to Lincoln Logs to marble runs. I always would fly through these processes, attaining a halfway decent product as quickly as possible. I feel like that’s a mentality many of us - including myself - maintain into adulthood; the behavior is necessary in many instances, after all. However, on occasion, stress accumulates, the world starts to pass you by, and you find yourself needing something slow, somewhat monotonous and intentional. That is where something quite like this video comes in: a process innately simple prolonged; small aspects like sounds and colors savored - it’s all so... regenerative. I commend this - and the other ASMR videos like it - for relaxing me, all while reminding me how much joy can be derived from this life if one’s perspective is only made more conducive to this contentment, this appreciation for that which surrounds us, composing that which we deem our existence.
