CR 250 is my consistently fastest, but the sound is horrible. Turned my engine volume almost all the way down for that over powered nitro rc car sound. CRF 450 has been the go to tell they fix that sound.

So, maybe I'll do exactly what you did with my huskys...Hopefully the sound patch, the control setup, and the 1st person pixel rendering (I'm on XBOX Series S) all get fixed in the next update.
I have the rm450 and crf450 tuned the same way. Idk why but rm seems easier to control. Also they need to make the GOAT difficulty way harder. Like twice as difficult as it is now.
Yeah. Just going through the career before my bikes are upgraded, I'll keep it in the mid setting for AI since I really don't want to have to repeat the races. But, once the bikes are upgraded and you can tune... Even the GOAT setting is easy in certain style races. I mean, I'm terrible at supercross and always have been...so there it's a challenge. However, outdoors? Once you know the track? It's pretty easy. I thought that maybe they'd make trail mode more interesting. But, nope! Not unless I make a couple of mistakes. They just need to have a bit more "IQ" and situational awareness somehow. They're faster, but they still make some of the dumbest mistakes cornering too fast and taking themselves completely out.
The 250 dominates online supercross lobbies simply because of it's handling characteristics. However it has a shifting issue from 2nd to 3rd in auto that hinders it's ability to hit larger riskier lines. That shift also seems pretty slow in manual mode. It's definitely an inside rut type of bike. This shifting issue exists on all the two strokes in the game so even if I want to play with a handicap I will go with the 250f
Right!? Honestly, I'm struggling online because of the rendering issues in first person and I CAN'T use the manual controls as they're set up. I'm too hard on my sticks and I shift accidentally anyway. So, I'm using manual transmission and it takes away from the way I typically use engine breaking and the way that I corner. The rendering problems just adds to that because I don't see certain jumps out landings until I'm on top of them. Love the game! But, still a patch or two away from allowing me to play the way that I'm good at lol.
Although, I will say the rendering only affects the outdoor national tracks. But, the way the manual transmission is set up just eats me alive on supercross. I end up using a combo of the rear break, pulling the clutch, and popping it while exiting the corners to make up for the fact I'm in auto transmission. It works, but still doesn't help that 2nd to 3rd issue that you mention.
I don't know what it is. But this game feels way more fun than when I first got it. Not sure if they've updated it. Or if it's the 250 2-stroke compared to the other bikes. But the supercross tracks I played is the most fun supertrack racing I've ever done. It feels nice and heavy, slow and weighty but not too slow. Just the right feel of heft and sliding. And I don't even usually like supercross tracks.
I feel like they should make the 450s a little bit more maneuverable or tone down the 250 2 stroke I think both bikes are fun but 250s aren’t supposed to be this comparable to a 450 😂

Yeah. A 250 shouldn't be able to compete with a 450 at the highest of levels. And, honestly, if you put a really fast player on a 450, and a really fast player on a 250, there's still about a second or two lost per lap on the 250. Which, is about right. For instance, you put Eli Tomac on a 250 and Kenny Roczen on a 450 for 5 laps in supercross, Kenny probably pulls out 5-10 seconds on Tomac. Now, if you put the fastest riders on 2-strokes and race guys who are fast, but not as fast, on 4 strokes...the 2 strokes handicap them, but they'll still compete if not win. The fact that Catanzaro and Steinke did this this past year on a track that was most likely THE WORST track for 2 strokes lol. But, still qualified and weren't that much further back than they usually are, says a TON about how the modem 2-stroke rides.
Yeah, not a fan of that. The rougher and ruttier the track gets the more I notice it too. I just have this feeling its some kind of balancing they're trying to do or something. Hope they decide to remove or fix it in the future.

Man, is there anyway you can do a full tutorial video on just how to bring your whips back so clean like you do? I’m on pro physics and it’s a nightmare trying to being a whip or scrub back. I legit need to see and hear what I need to do with my sticks. So much different than milestone!
I actually do not mind the manual set up. Since I play a lot of FPS games, I’ve trained myself to be easier on the sticks, I’m never pressing them hard enough to misclick and accidentally shift up or down a gear. But I do think they need to add a remapping option. Shifting w square and circle like on milestone games would be a great addition. I also have noticed the same thing you touched on, almost all the bikes have to be ridden differently, the 250s really would be best if it wasn’t for all the issues w them, 450s are where it’s at. Do this test on a national track. I think that you will find the 250 2 stroke to be about 10 sec a lap faster. The problem with the 250 2 stroke is that you dont run out of power when you ring it out. All the other bikes slow sown when you hit the rev limiter. The 250f is slow as shit compared to the 250 2 stroke.
Not true considering I've beaten many people on 250's with a 250f and especially the 450 (for obvious reasons). Depends on the player and the tune a lot more than the bike.

If the 250 is better for you than by all means continue to use it so I can beat you on an objectively slower 250f lmao. Like I said, its about the player and tune.

I haven't compared myself other than how I "feel"...because the times are so similar. But, it seems like the 450's weight makes them a bit more exact and easier to hit the lines with precision. The 250 2-strokes seem lighter and a bit harder to hit the jumps everytime... Basically they ARE bouncier, but also more jumpy (almost like how 125 2-strokes are traditionally jumpy) But, in the end, the 250 can still put up the same lap times because of the weight and they're a bit more forgiving and agile. Just my thoughts based on playing and watching this video.
Tuning is easy tune everything level three stiff suspension, acceleration, clutch boost traction grip, and put brakes second from softest. Also not sure about this video. But hands down the Yamaha 250 and 450 are the best for four strokes out of all the dlc. And for two strokes I found ktm to be the best if tuned right. And for quads the best one right now is the klx

I realised that after the new update the ruts become noticeable after a few laps. But unfortunately after lap 10 it's impossible to race without bouncing all over the place because of the ruts. That is verry annoying

Can they please fix the track deformation on some of the sx tracks😭. I can’t even turn what so ever and I just get launched off the track. I’m still trying to find a tune for sx on my 450s but at the same time I’m trying to find an all around tune and I’m kinda struggling with that.
I'm working on a deformation video. Like you mentioned, some Supercross tracks get so insane you can't really ride the track anymore, lol. I've found I just have to go slower to be able to get around the track. Try and really get into some of those ruts. Problem is, some corners are so tore up, there isn't really a rut anymore.

Hopefully the game gets fixed on xbox soon. Manual doesn't work only let's me use automatic, and the 250 2stroke doesn't work when it's customized engine stays reved at high rpm in what it says is 3rd gear and bike only goes 30mph

Weird though I’ve been using the ktm 250 sx and it’s the only reason I use manual because it wouldn’t work in auto so I figured tough shit I’ll just use manual if I wanna 250 2 stroke. In auto it stays in fifth gear and doesn’t go above 30 ish like you said
From my experience the oem bikes all have different handling characteristics and has been the same way since supercross back in the day. I find the ktm 450 handles better than the Yamaha 450. Have had others say that they have experienced similar things

I love this game, but its a joke that with splitscreen my friend can only play with the 125 the game starts with. I want him to ride one of the bikes I allready upgraded and battle him from he start.
Yeah. Probably would have been a little bit different on the nationals. Just so much easier to try to replicate the same lap over and over on an easy Supercross track.
Fair enough, i finally got the game performing well and having so much fun just riding nationals in time trial first person, just wish i could pull the camera back and up a tad more
Dno why but I feel slow everywhere bike bogs and I can’t clear the big jumps even tho I use both sticks to preload. Just struggling. I’m on the Kawasaki too. Maybe I need to have better tuning I dno. But I’ve maxed them all out and I’ve played with them and still can’t find no momentum.
I mean you could for sure. I just wanted to run as identical of a lap as I could with both bikes. If I got a little better scrub with one bike it would have possibly changed the overall lap time.

Would anybody know why career 250 supercross is forcing me to use a mx125? I own the Yamaha pack and it still forces me to use a mx125 when all other AI are on mx250…. Love the game otherwise
Sadly, that’s just the way the game is.. through the whole career until you unlock the 450, you’ll be forced to race the 125 in all 250 events. I have the Honda pack and I could only use the Honda 125. Very annoying indeed.
I don't even think I've used that bike. I was pretty sure that all the same displacement bikes were equal to each other, but I haven't tested or even used all of them.
Dude, I have been getting WHOOPED by 250 2t online in nationals. I'm running the yz450f and i'll consistently get 3rd to 5th. Assuming most races have about 10 riders in them. With the occasional win here and there. I always lose to 250's. I tried the yz250 and I still get the same placing. 250's haul is all i'm saying
I would say if you tuned the 250T differently, it would be a lot better outdoors than the way I had it tuned. They're really close imo. If some players are running really fast on the 250T and it's their favorite bike, I can totally see that. I haven't done a lot of multiplayer. I have the game on console and plan to eventually.
Wait till you see 450 atv's man. They can't even catch as much air as a 125 despite having a higher top speed. And what makes it weirder is that they have a top speed somewhat close to the 250 2 stroke mx bikes.😂

Dude arguably the worst part of the game. 3-5 gear on the 2 smoke 250 is horrendous. It really is cringe worthy. Hope they fix soon.

Last time I checked the 250 2 strokes only work on Series X if they are stock, they just lock in 4th when they are tuned making them pointless
really wish the preload stick was on the right like every other game, it really messes me up

@@kamdaman idk. I’d try restarting the console as well as just messing around w the settings. Weird though I’ve been using the ktm 250 sx and it’s the only reason I use manual because it wouldn’t work in auto so I figured tough shit I’ll just use manual if I wanna 250 2 stroke. In auto it stays in fifth gear and doesn’t go above 30 ish like you said
From my experience the oem bikes all have different handling characteristics and has been the same way since supercross back in the day. I find the ktm 450 handles better than the Yamaha 450. Have had others say that they have experienced similar things

My problem with the 250 is that it takes twice as much clutch work to keep the bike from bogging down and losing all the speed
No dh it it shouldn’t bog as nearly as much it literally bogs coming out of corners taken perfectly losing its momentum u probably wouldn’t understand u don’t seem all that smart
Does y’all game crash when you go to customize the bike color? Mine does and I haven’t found a fix for it :/ is it a bug or something? I play on pc too and it’s only on the rainbow 250 2 stroke and 450 4 stroke 4 sum reason
Dosent do it on ps5 for my at least hopefully they can get that patched

I usually have to quit out the game when this happens and it fixes it. This happens to be on monster energy 5 as well.
@@JustMamba even when I quit the game it still crashes when I try to customize my bike. I think we have to wait for a new patch because it seems to be a bug or something like that
I love this game, but its a joke that with splitscreen my friend can only play with the 125 the game starts with. I want him to ride one of the bikes I allready upgraded and battle him from he start.
think you should do the same on national, something like Big Horn as its nice and fast
Yeah. Probably would have been a little bit different on the nationals. Just so much easier to try to replicate the same lap over and over on an easy Supercross track.
Fair enough, i finally got the game performing well and having so much fun just riding nationals in time trial first person, just wish i could pull the camera back and up a tad more
Dno why but I feel slow everywhere bike bogs and I can’t clear the big jumps even tho I use both sticks to preload. Just struggling. I’m on the Kawasaki too. Maybe I need to have better tuning I dno. But I’ve maxed them all out and I’ve played with them and still can’t find no momentum.
I have a tuning video in this playlist. Maybe it could help. The 250 or 450? Manual or auto? I think manual is definitely the way to go.

I mean you could for sure. I just wanted to run as identical of a lap as I could with both bikes. If I got a little better scrub with one bike it would have possibly changed the overall lap time.
Ghost racing??? I see you're doing time trials, but can you race against a ghost rider of your best lap on each track or select a friend's ghost to race against like you could in Milestone's Monster Energy Supercross 4???

Would anybody know why career 250 supercross is forcing me to use a mx125? I own the Yamaha pack and it still forces me to use a mx125 when all other AI are on mx250…. Love the game otherwise
Sadly, that’s just the way the game is.. through the whole career until you unlock the 450, you’ll be forced to race the 125 in all 250 events. I have the Honda pack and I could only use the Honda 125. Very annoying indeed.
The Phoenix 250 4 Stroke is by far the best in my opinion and I'm a 2 stroke guy.
I don't even think I've used that bike. I was pretty sure that all the same displacement bikes were equal to each other, but I haven't tested or even used all of them.

Dude, I have been getting WHOOPED by 250 2t online in nationals. I'm running the yz450f and i'll consistently get 3rd to 5th. Assuming most races have about 10 riders in them. With the occasional win here and there. I always lose to 250's. I tried the yz250 and I still get the same placing. 250's haul is all i'm saying
I would say if you tuned the 250T differently, it would be a lot better outdoors than the way I had it tuned. They're really close imo. If some players are running really fast on the 250T and it's their favorite bike, I can totally see that. I haven't done a lot of multiplayer. I have the game on console and plan to eventually.

Wait till you see 450 atv's man. They can't even catch as much air as a 125 despite having a higher top speed. And what makes it weirder is that they have a top speed somewhat close to the 250 2 stroke mx bikes.😂

The way the game starts you out on a completely stock 125 isn't the best experience.

This game runs like pure shit on series s 🤦🤬 The damn handlebars don't render all the niether do the brake and clutch handles and the cables look like they're from Minecraft 🤦 You can't race or freeride because the damn track pops up in front of you so you never know what's in front of you until it's to late 🤬 This game is shit !!
@DJ Moose it's the x/s version and I'm on the the S 🤷 . I've uninstalled and reinstalled it 3 times and still the same so I'm not sure🤦I've seen people on TH-cam playing on the same system and it doesn't do on theirs so í haven't a clue what's up.

Lol. I wasn't going for insane style or the fastest laps in the world. I'm pretty sure I said that in the video. Just trying to do the same exact lap with both bikes. Trying to run the absolute fastest lap would cause for more way more inconsistencies.
