Largs is a lovely place to visit, Skelmorlie doesn't have a great deal to see, wemyss bay has the caravan site with stunning views over the clyde, a victorian railway station which is worth a visit and a ferry terminal over to Rothesay.
Disagree with your comment about Skelmorlie! It's much larger than what's shown here. The upper part of the village has plenty to see and lovely walks. It's a fab village!
