Gasp, you're right! That's awesome! Finally, two things I've wanted in the original TR1, Lara's hair braid and the mid-air turn. And the lighting is also much more dramatic. I'm quite looking forward to this remaster.
The Duck-Roll and Crouch-Roll have also been brought into TR3 from Chronicles it seems, so no need to reverse from crawlspaces and back out of them.
everything is getting really good, we got the 3 full remakes of the well known franchise trilogies from the 90's like Crash Bandicoot, Spyro The Dragon and now Tomb Raider, this is gonna be fun!
Tomb Raider 2 & Tomb Raider 3 look amazing the amount of detail in those two games is stunning and Tomb Raider 1 has actual statistic screens at the end of each level.
I've been waiting years for a Tomb Raider remaster! So glad it's coming! Hope Last Revelation gets remastered too, as it was my first game on Sega Dreamcast.

Amazing. Few notes(like it mean anything but still I wanna write it) I hope water in tr3 will be improved(weaving effect and water reacting to rain). I dont understand why lara can make footprints in mud but cant in snow in tr1. I hope circle menu will be not black. Other than that its amazing I love it I'm really happy and impress how great they did and yet capute spirit of original... and shaking tony😅😂wtf hilarious. LOVE IT
So the remastered where the gameplay graphics is better than pre-rendered CGI 😂
I remember being impressed by the quality of these pre-rendered cutscenes. Today I find them ugly af. It's fascinating how the progress of technology changes our views.

i hope theres an option for 60 or 120fps with original graphics but overall im still so excited to replay these games
di pc version will unlocked the fps. so feel free to make the fps good.. ps5 get 4k 120fps. ps4 and switch got max at 60fps 😄
its 60fps, pc probably unlocked, so you 240hz people at least can use 20% of your graphics card

Beautiful but I can't lie I'm upset that the fmv's weren't remastered and instead just Ai upscaled. It's extremely noticeable in tr1. My heart aches. But, gameplay looks gorgeous

Tr3 is the only demo we get here where the opening FMV is skipped and it appears the game switches from an upscaled look back to the classic before abruptly being skipped.
They just worked on characters. Everything else is just Ai upscaled

I am glad that you can go back and forth between the new graphics and old with a press of a button.
These all look very cute but there are definitely issues that I hope will be addressed in future patches.
The braid in the cutscenes is very wonky. Going underwater is lacking textures. In TR3 I noticed that they kept the head bobbing for some reason. No idea why when the lipsyncing is now there. That didn't happen in the cutscene at the end of the level for TR2. The inventory backgrounds are just black, why?

They did, and you can even swap between the remastered cutscenes and old cutscenes while they're playing.

It's the OG setting, seems to play in original graphics mode and framerate randomly. The new graphics seem fine.

Finally, someone who knows how to play Tomb Raider! All the video game media outlets showcasing the remasters just flounder about the levels and make a poor show of these games. It's painful to watch. This is how it's done.😎

I am glad Tall Lara is nowhere in sight. I am OKAY with Lara being able to backflip+turn in TR1. I am NOT okay with wheels of death in TR2 missing their metallic reflection.

*My pet-peeves/nitpicks that I've noticed from all the footage:*
1.) I don't like the way the guns shoot. The audio timing doesn't sound right.
2.) The water doesn't look very improved in my opinion...
3.) No 60fps for original visuals?
4.) RIP to the TR3 shotgun.

Strange the guns seem exactly right to me, what did you originally play on back in the day?
@@yanceyboyz Like I said, it's a nitpick lol. The timing of her shooting her guns is wrong in the audio. It should just be a consistent firing of her duals. But the audio makes it feel like she does "little bursts" of two shots in these remasters. It's hard to explain.
In some places there were noticeable slowdowns, I hope that this was the author’s problem and the game will not slow down on a weak PC...

Strange. They turned off the shaking head during talking of Lara but they kept for the NPCs. People will enjoy because we have three excellent games from Core Desing, but we need to be honest and say It was a rushed "remaster".
If only they water was reflective...
You keep switching to Old and New all the time. Its actually quite annoying. lol should pick one and stick with it. Constant light to dark, light to dark. Then new textures to old textures.
I get it its a good feature. But when recording, you should only use one. Unless you have commentary and say you are doing it
