I've said it before, but it's worth saying again: I really appreciate you having an example that shows weaker gear and more accessible Trusts. It's new players that need these kinds of guides the most.
The optimal location to get the KI would be by taking the HP in Boyahda Tree. The tunnel has two skimmers and the immediate area outside has two more. There are also a ton further by the tree but you'll have to avoid Goobbue that are sight and crabs that are sound. Unfortunately this can be a pain if multiple people are farming it. If you're going to HP somewhere and then do another port, I would avoid Adoulin as you'll just be burning through KU. You can instead HP to somewhere next to a survival guide and go to someplace like Dragon's Aery which has a dense number of enemies all of which count and can support many players. There are certainly other locations as well. It's just that everyone will focus of the very specific location listed causing you having to compete for enemies. It's why I completely avoided Fei'Yin last month after see 3+ people trying to kill the mobs.
For those relying on a tank trust, I advise learning how to reposition the tank so that the conal attack(s) don't hit the rest of the party. One of the attacks can one-shot Yoran who often positions himself in the dumbest spots. Put your tank's back up against one of the towers or a wall and this becomes less of an issue although he still tries to get pretty close to the conal attack's radius.
