What a flank! Really shows how one decisive fight can end a game. I'm puzzled by AC's choice of minor gods, which did not synergize with his mass-chariot archer strategy. He could have gone Sekhmet for the +4 chariot range, and Thoth for the doubled empowered Migdol production.
Final flank by Divine was epic ... he really studied the micro of AC and interrupted he routine path to completely slaughter the chariots.... You could say, that was an absolute win :D
14:17 The tornado would be better on either buildings which don't move, or to use it behind the army while you attack from the front forcing them to fight. Placing it in-front of the enemy army or partially on top just makes it easier to run away.
Horus was such a terrible God choice in this situation. He got a Tornado which he made pretty bad use of as well and an Avenger - nothing else! Thoth would have given him Meteor which already would have been way better in the situation he used Tornade in. But especially Valley of King would have been amazing. Double train Elephants and you not only have a front line for the Chariots you already massed, but also a Siege weapon in the same unit. Even if he had just used it to double train Chariots it would at least have done something for him. I think Horus is pretty pointless if you dont plan to go for mass infantry (which he obviously has great upgrades for). I think he usually goes for Infantry based Set play and then Horus is a fine choice. In this game he was forced into Chariots as a last ditch effort and then just auto piloted into his usual choice. But as a top player he should definitely become more flexible.
I had an interesting idea. In game like this where blue spawns on the right and red on the left, maybe spin the map 180 degrees so that the sides match the UI?
Playing just one kind of unit was never a good option, because there are always counters. In AOM it works especially since all of the men-units are typically hardly countered by mythic units. So you need good mixture of all of three types: men-heroes-mythics + siege to prevail.
@@paulsernine5302 prolly cause their low tickle of favor compared to every other faction on retold is hurting them, when favor was less important it was more than fine, now that people can stack it up and use multiple powers for the cost of favor, plus just in general how much mythic units have been buffed, i feel egypt is suffering with their low tickle rate even if its mostly hands off
Villiager looking at a dead giraffe that has been decomposing for months but still has '5' food left on it.
"That bit right there! Still good."

15:30 Curse is based on current HP, so use it on either low base HP or injured units

yea i don't think the power needs buffs just needed to have been used better there
amazing game, loved how divine apt maneuvered him against the forest lol
Honestly thought the chariots had a shot before that big slip up
Fitz I watched a game you played the other day I think. Was a good one, gg

Anyone know if AC is ArmyCore?
Hades probably would have won faster if he had gone through Archibald as you had suggested
He misused the spell "curse" (turning into pigs). He used them where there was almost no army.

AC made alot of questionable choices in this game

A great god as Egyptians go 🙊 they’re stupid all of them! I hope we see some nerfs on tox aswell, I’m just a salty Thor player 🤣
