Nah, a handful of people actually pointed out it may be a Chapter 2 song. I was considering this being the case myself as well, though wasn't 100% sure of course
Love how this arrangement of The Legend made it into Chapter 2 in the form of My Castle Town, because it would have honestly been a waste to just remain a bonus for the concert, considering how different it is from the original. It deserved to be made into its' own song and I'm glad Toby thought so too.
I think the Snowden’s one might be used as a theme for Noelle cos she’s gonna play a more main part in the other deltarune games As shown by the more expressive sprites which were leaked by Toby
Funfact- when Toby made the original soundtrack for Undertale he managed to damage his wrist so that's why there are a couple of mistakes within the songs. Not only that but it's so amazing how he had the courage to do a live performance and play these amazing songs💕
I would like to comment on the alarm clock dialoges as I haven't seen much attention about it. First, on Undynes dialogue she makes canonical that sans dances the default dance. Also on papyrus dialogue he talks about how he saw sans sleeping and how he couldn't remember the last time he was so happy. Another thing is that Asgore talks about Rudy, who is a reindeer that has a daughter and that fell down. This could be foreshadowing the death of Noelle's father in Deltarune. Lastly, in all the dialoges, Frisk is nowhere to be seen, but everyone knows each other, which only happens at the end of the pacifist ending. This may mean that the true ending is the one in which Frisk abandons the monsters at the end of the pacifist ending.
I think Frisk is the one being spoken to, based off Flowey’s part where he says “the dust of your friends” and how he said that Toriel called him Asriel one time in the Ruins
Everyone was talking about it on Twitter. I make some Undertale animations on my channel sometimes, so I was thinking about maybe making a little animation for some of the alarm clock stuff!

Not to say Toby isn't good, but he's still unpolished, this isn't sanitized, this isn't hyper-edited for maximum mass appeal and consumability, it's A Guy Playing A Piano. Who somehow happened to hit all the right notes at the right time for the right people and is somehow now hanging with ZUN and Sakurai and making music for Pokemon. There's a bit of melancholy to it, at least in my eyes Toby slightly encompasses survivorship bias, Undertale feels like it carries the souls of all the just-as-good games that just didn't succeed enough to keep their creators afloat through pure circumstance. But even with that astronomical roaring fortune, he never turned into some commercialized entity. It's beautiful that, despite everything, Toby is still Toby.

It re-scheduled and broke my entire sleep schedule but it was so worth it, since I had to get up at 5 AM to school. When I woke at 3 AM and it said that it will really begin after 45 minutes or so, I was like "Oh no my sleep" but then the characters came to wait too and I felt like I was waiting with them. Kinda. It got me on a deep level of feeling which I can't really describe, I'm so glad I watched it all from the beginning to the end (even tho at the end I was already in a bus travelling to my school) ❤ Sorry for my bad english btw

The snowdin rendition could really fit in to a snowy dark world environment in deltarune chapters to come. The theme sounds so reborn and I'd love to hear it as bgm in new deltarune places, it could accompany Noelle and her family as a theme so well.
The improv rendition of Home makes me feel a way I can't put into exact words. It's like the embodiment of a happy memory getting you through a rough time, of looking back on how far you've come with an understanding that, though you don't know what tomorrow will bring, you've made it through every hardship you've come across.
I think Toby said that the first song is actually a new song from Deltarune. It certainly uses the same motifs from The Legend, but there are different melodies and stuff around it.
Toby piano playing always manages to make me feel emotional. It's for people like him that I believe this was indeed a great generation to be born at even with the inherent flaws of this world.
If the legend became My Castle Town then possibly the rest will make their ways into Deltarune with how differently they are from their original songs? Im most interested in the snowdin town one
Toby was playing this even though he had injured his wrist! And I’m p sure has been struggling with carpal tunnel. That’s why his playing is a little off. But it’s still good! Bro the live stream was 10/10 I was so happy to be there to celebrate the anniversary!
every time I come back here this still never fails to make me emotional. Toby made Undertale and Deltarune a true experience that still effect me, and one isn’t even done yet. While they’re still separate, they share something really special. I can’t wait to come back here again when we see more of what this guy and his team has in store
The part where he's playing "Snowdin" isn't actually Snowdin! It's actually "Hometown Day" that was recently teased on the website. Damn that's so cool! @@MediaMotifs please make it, Is very good
Christmas music? I swear this is just me
@@oneinbillions-8293 Yep. I just hear q beautiful piano remix of the opening song in deltarune (which is already great)
It’s even more impressive to hear this when you know he was still in the midst of a serious hand injury when he played for this concert
You guys gotta remember this legend has a wrist injury rn and he still plays this good
is anyone here from realizing the castle town music from chapter 2 is the same as this rendition of legend?!
The Snowdin remix is so freaking beautiful
The snowdin rendition could really fit in to a snowy dark world environment in deltarune chapters to come. The theme sounds so reborn and I'd love to hear it as bgm in new deltarune places, it could accompany Noelle and her family as a theme so well.
Also ps wonderful editing
The improv rendition of Home makes me feel a way I can't put into exact words. It's like the embodiment of a happy memory getting you through a rough time, of looking back on how far you've come with an understanding that, though you don't know what tomorrow will bring, you've made it through every hardship you've come across.
The Legend piano version is the one that plays in castletown in ch 2!
Can everyone agree with me that Toby's piano version of "The Legend" fucking *SLAPS* ?
He's a legend, he brightened my day, he is epic.
I will always remember this games, always.
I think Toby said that the first song is actually a new song from Deltarune. It certainly uses the same motifs from The Legend, but there are different melodies and stuff around it.
You were right
@@JoshTRC As soon as I heard the song in Chapter 2, I immediately recognized it.
@@darthangel310 good job
A dose of Toby's musical talent. Toby always got something in store for us.
Toby piano playing always manages to make me feel emotional. It's for people like him that I believe this was indeed a great generation to be born at even with the inherent flaws of this world.
The legend, and once upon a time, are the start of a good history
If the legend became My Castle Town then possibly the rest will make their ways into Deltarune with how differently they are from their original songs? Im most interested in the snowdin town one
I always loved the little touch in Last Goodbye of Toby playing piano, and this just brought that whole feeling back.
Toby was playing this even though he had injured his wrist! And I’m p sure has been struggling with carpal tunnel. That’s why his playing is a little off. But it’s still good!
Bro the live stream was 10/10 I was so happy to be there to celebrate the anniversary!
Wow, we wouldn’t have thought that this is teasing the soundtrack for Chapter 2-
Wait-
That's "My Castle Town" at the start
SNEAKY TOBY-
every time I come back here this still never fails to make me emotional. Toby made Undertale and Deltarune a true experience that still effect me, and one isn’t even done yet. While they’re still separate, they share something really special. I can’t wait to come back here again when we see more of what this guy and his team has in store
This was so unexpected! I loved every second of it!
He is a genius.
The part where he's playing "Snowdin" isn't actually Snowdin! It's actually "Hometown Day" that was recently teased on the website. Damn that's so cool! I was just thinking about this and it sounded familiar then I realized that maybe it's an early version of "Hometown Day" like the "Legend" is an early version of "My Castle Town". Toby you're incredible
5:41 I love how you can hear Windows 7's User Account Control in the background LOOOL
the way he plays snowdin makes it sound even more magical, it makes the song so happy and sparkly
I love how he arranged all of the songs, they sounded lovely. I could feel the atmosphere of Undertale.
