As a Sociologist, I can offer you some clarity on that question.
Those "Thumbs Down" and "Negative Comments/baits" on what we interpret as "Worthy and Well Done Video/Audio Shares on TH-cam and other Social Medias" are: *largely 3-4 types of individuals whom are:*
(1) Adolescents; (2) Adults with an Adolescent Emotional Development, and those are overwhelmingly Narcississt Personality Disorders; - they feed from the reaction energies they provoke, this is why they are best ignored. (3) some are merely folks already having "a day", and lastly (4) there are some accidents by older folks unnfamiliar with their device.
Adolescents are exercising a show of "Power" their Comments routinely are efforts of Attention Seeking. A trait that's common in their age group.
Focus on the Thumbs up, they represent the Pos itive Energies.

You are so blessed. I lost my maternal grandmother, the dearest person in the world to me at age 8. Of course, that meant my mother lost her mama at age 29, which meant nothing to me so young. Years later I realized how hard it must have been for her. Damn pancreatic cancer. Still no cure for it.

I’m in Britain and I remember my great grandma telling stories about her childhood. She was born in 1881. I wish I’d listened harder, or written them down! But as a kid I wasn’t aware how desperate I would be in my senior years to recall them...

I did write all the stories of my family and everything I could find for the next generation. I already gave all my relatives this written stories. No story should be forgotten. Great stories, as usual. No one posting here needs to fear- you are believed! I got tickled, though, by the comment made about the girls from the outfitters hiking in the woods- I well know the shenanigans made by male counterparts in a rafting company! I had taught kayaking, then got roped into raft guiding one summer on the Ocoee River in the early 2000s. Those guys are wild- and hilarious! Glad this former guide got confirmation later on for what she experienced, whether she believes it or not! And Dr Meldrum! Whoo hoo Cam! That would be awesome if you could interview him! Love you, bro!

Your channel is complete pleasure for me-your stories, your voice, your appreciation for the people that tell you stories and your gratefulness for us, your listeners (and subscribers❤️). TH-cam just can't become like other sites on the internet that have turned into a cesspool of bickering. I think TH-cam is the coolest site on the web. I always read all of the comments on your videos because a lot of people tell their personal experiences. Keep cranking out the videos-we appreciate your hard work.

Denise, I am a 74 year old woman who considers herself a feminist, but for the most part I sure agree with you. I call myself and friends “ the girls”. Sometimes the ladies, but we aren’t always ladylike! I don’t like it in professional settings, or when guys are called men while the women are still girls, because it ‘s disrespectful. I’m confused... I’ve lived in Chattanooga, TN all my life and familiar with Lookout Mountain as it runs from Chattanooga and south into Georgia. I wasn’t aware the mountain ran into Alabama.
It does and it is beautiful!
Right along the GA-AL border. That finger ridge is where the triple waterfalls are over in AL... Little Canyon Falls is their name. I don't know if it's still allowed, but you used to be able to jump off the lowest waterfall into the river below!
Cam-I've just gotten the chance to start listening to your channel again after several months away. And it's still terrific! The 1st story struck home with me, because I had an experience on that part of Lookout Mt. Back in 2017, on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend, my wife and I stayed at a bed and breakfast lodge on top of Lookout Mt in Alabama. The waterfall was about a 1/2 mile walk from the lodge, and there was an easily followed trail between the two. That morning about 10am, we took the trail to the waterfall. About halfway there, the trail opens onto a meadow about 100 yds across, and then re-enters the trees on the other side. As we came into the meadow, a group of 4 deer, both adults and juveniles, came running out of the opposite tree line at top speed. They ran by us, coming within just a few feet of my wife and I, to the trees we had just emerged from. We were surprised and intrigued by this behavior, but kept on walking. Within a few seconds of finding the trail on the opposite of the meadow, we entered the tree line on the opposite side. Almost immediately, we both noticed something moving behind a large mountain laurel bush about 15-20 ft in front of us. It was large-the top of it was about 6 ft above the ground- and had reddish-brown hair. It appeared to be moving away from us,(there was no visible face) deeper into the forest. We watched for a few seconds before it disappeared into the deep brush. We turned and went back to the meadow and compared notes. We both felt it was not a bear, which is rare but not unheard of on Lookout mt. Our conclusions were that it was either a man in a furry suit, or an actual Bigfoot. Later, we asked the property owner about large animals on the property. She said there had been no bear sightings on Lookout mt for years, and mountains lions had been absent for at least a century. She had no explanation for what we had seen. That's my story. Keep it up! We love listening to your stories.

I did go and view that video you suggested on Bob's website, and I just don't know what that is. There just isn't enough visual information for me to make a determination. But like Rocky said, when someone has an encounter, you must stay open minded because once you see one, you then become a knower, not a believer. It's definitely a strange color, I'll say that. I have never seen anything that large with those colorations in the wild. Interesting...I'm like you Cam, I have never seen one, but I call myself "skeptimistic". ;-)

Cam, back in 83 I got assigned with the Air Force at Mountain Home, Idaho. Several of my friends and I used to camp in and around the Stanley, Idaho area. We spent every off duty days in the mountains. Hunting, Fishing, and camping. We never had any strange happenings in or around us while there. I would like to see one. Love your channel and don't miss any of your posts. I was there from Sept 83 to May 85, when I got assigned back in Korea.
