I work for knight, not sure how I came across this video but I had a 19 about to get a 20 and love the new gen volvos. The bunk heater is annoying as hell but it was a good truck to me. I put like 200k on mine and never went into the shop for anything more than a service or a tire
Im considering going with Knight, I've got a years experience, its 2020, do you think the odds of me snagging a new volvo are good? Or would they hand me a 2017-2018?

One of my clients ask me to help him with his upcoming truck purchasing. So I decided to do my own research. Please advice me on a purchasing price for the same model. I see that prices are fluctuating from155 I to 135.500 not sure why would be such significant price difference. Your help will be greatly appreciated.Best to all of you, Steven.
Are all new drivers getting trucks with mini fridges and APUs? Also just curious what your home terminal is? I’m in Vegas and I’m thinking of joining Knight because they have a terminal here.
@@TravelWithRick313 it's not up to u how many miles u get. The pay is the lowest in the industry. Just basic math. For u to make 65 grand u would have to run every possible hour available for year. Lol
It just depends on what you get. This is like the basic of them all. They all have different trim levels. Just depends on how much do you want to spend

That carbon monoxide detector does no good up there. It’s heavier than air so it needs to be on or near the floor

Volvos are nice trucks. I also have a CO2 detector and a smoke detector.
Actually they still have air bag drop but for some reason knight didn't put it in your truck

just the normal lagging going up hill under full load. but nothing our of ordinary.

I'm averageing 8.1 on my Knight truck in dry van Volvo new 760
Thats not bad. Im doing about 7.5 and thats western 11
@@TravelWithRick313 the key is use cruise as much as possible and don't idle use bonk heater I run east to west from nc to cali a lot with student

Trucks have power inverters and refrigerators they are in testing to see if apus will be a good fit.

Not impressed, no reason these trucks cannot be made as a mini touring Tractor, so much wasted space.
