Excellent tutorial. This is basically the continuation of what sailors had to do every single day when sailing ships were all there was. As a blacksmith, I can see this coming in very handy around the shop when heavy pieces need to be moved.
So stop pretending this idea of Prusik is yours and not something that can be readily made with a few seconds of time with any given piece of rope laying around
