      Honestly, that theory corresponds with lion prides in real life. An adult male chooses his "queen" and also mates with his sisters, female cousins, aunts, nieces, daughters, and even his own mother. If there are up to 3 adult males in a single pride, then those adult males are automatically brothers because males outside the pride would have been challengers and any sons the males in the pride have would have been sent away to start their own prides or take over other prides outside the territory they were born in. Also, with how weak Nuka is in The Lion King 2; Simba's Pride, in real life he would have been eaten by his parents which explains the cannibalism theory.

    The one about Timone being a cult leader; what if it’s actually Pumba? Think about. It’s his idea to raise Simba so that he will be on their side. He also correctly guesses why the stars are. This proves that he is really smart. Maybe he manipulated Timone into thinking he wasn’t smart and that Timone was the “leader” of the cult. If you have any extra evidence please share. And please don’t be super mean if you disagree.

    Some of these are interesting, but there are a couple that can be proved false.
    Mufasa and Scar are brothers, and Scar's original name was Taka. He got his scar after a run in with -I believe- a water buffalo and insisted on being called Scar from then on.
    And Timon isn't a cult leader, he was trying to find a place to be happy and keep his family safe. Timon was pretty much exiled from his warren when he caused too many problems that fixing them when he tried to make the warren safer, he's clever and curious, but has trouble trying to solve issues on his own. He left to find a better home, and along the way met pumba, who was also pretty much exiled from society (for obvious reasons).

    I always thought that scar and muffasa symbolized Zeus and Hades, and how Hades was the rightful heir to the throne but Zeus tricked Hades to a rigged game of drawing locks and won the throne, and Hades always despised Sue's for this. Zeus being muffasa and Hades being scar.

    • @iamdclxvi
      @iamdclxvi 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@ItsButterBean1020 what do you mean? I took a class on mythology in college, and that is how it goes, well here's the story.
      Cronus knew of a prophecy that said one of his children would slay him, so he ate all of his children whole, first was Hades, then Poseidon, Hestia, Demeter and Hera. When Zeus was born Rhea gave Cronus a rock wrapped in cloth, and he ate it without question. Rhea hid Zeus in a cave in Mount Ida in Crete and had Kouretes and Dactyls guard Zeus until he was grown and strong. And pretty much he came back, slayed Cronus and freed his brothers and sisters. Hades, being the first born was first in line for the crown rightfully, but Zeus insisted they draw locks and give everyone a chance for the throne, but he actually had the game rigged so he would draw the long stick, and all that was left for Hades to rule was the underworld, Hades knew he had been cheated, but did as Zeus said because they made a deal. Hades always planned to take his throne back when he was strong enough, and put Zeus in the underworld.
      That's just a short version of the story, but that is the story overall.

    • @ItsButterBean1020
      @ItsButterBean1020 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Kronos did see a prophecy and the Titanomachy (Titan War) did go the same with Zeus in many versions rigging it so Hades drew the short straw but while Hades was bitter I don’t remember much of him desiring Olympus for himself (hell he was described as an equal to Zeus but he didn’t make moves on it)

    • @iamdclxvi
      @iamdclxvi 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@ItsButterBean1020 Hades became accepting of his kingdom, and actually preferred it over Olympus. He was planning to undermine Zeus though, and he did with the kraken to prove his power. However he eventually allied with Zeus to defeat the Titans as freeing Cronus would be devastating for him as well. However the telling of the story has changed over the years, the plot and outcome are always the same. Some versions even have Hades sacrificing himself to save Zeus.

    The skull that Scar is holding actually resembles a baboon skull. The brain to body ratio, position of the eyes, lack of a sagittal crest, and shape of the jaws/teeth are far more akin to that of a baboon than a lion. However, it’s also interesting to note that the original plot of The Lion King was going to be that Scar lead a troop of baboons and waged war on Mufasa’s pride.

    there is false theory
    Scar, orignally called Taka, was attacked by a herd of buffalo's, taka intentions was to make de buffalo's attack Mufasa, one of the buffalo attacked Taka instead and gave him a scar. so Taka decided to call himself Scar as a reminder for what he did
    and in the Lion Guard, there is a painting on a wall where Rafiki explains to the lion guard that Nala's dad was rescued by the old lion guard, because the painting of Nala's dad looked like Kion and as the wall paints show the past, they thought it could also show the future, hence the misunderstanding. so Nala is nothing related with Mufasa or Scar, same with Kovu, he ain't Scar's son

    • @seawolfmoon

      That is just a semi-canon set of stories so on the same level as the theory in the top ten. This may be debunked when the Lion Guard produces an episode on why Scar is called Scar.

    • @karlijnbellemans8964
      @karlijnbellemans8964 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@seawolfmoon It was explained in the books of TLK, i would have never knew Mufasa's and Taka's parents if it weren't for the books.
      There they explained everything. and it will surprise me if the directors of the TLK introduce incest in their movies, they avoided it in TLK 2 with Kovu and Scar, Nala's mother was an outside at first and Nala was fathered by an unknown lion that looked like Kion.

    • @seawolfmoon
      @seawolfmoon 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@karlijnbellemans8964 Semi-canon- Often not acknowledged as a canon due to the parent company or product not including it in their works. This can mean that everything you just said about Mufasa and SCAR'S parents can be discounted in a moment as the Lion Guard is acknowledged as canon due to the parent company doing so. Director's cuts, edits, commentary is also included in semi-canon category to non-canon category which is why Scar and Mufasa still are questioned to be Nala's father even when the canon content disproves it and why people still say Zira is Scar's queen.
      Now follow me when I say, THE BOOKS ARE NOT FULL CANON BECAUSE THEY CONTAIN KOPA, WHO IS NOT A CANON CHARACTER! The directors will probably never include the Ahadi and Uru names for Mufasa and Scar's parents, Scar's backstory may never be more than he has a scar and it may never come from a Water Buffalo. End of Story.

    • @karlijnbellemans8964
      @karlijnbellemans8964 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@seawolfmoon sure they may never talk about Mufasa's and Taka's parents, but Kion also wasn't a character in the Lion King 2, clearly we saw the Outlanders in The Lion Guard, which means the events in the Lion Guard are maybe during the same time period of The Lion King 2
      Kopa was also a son of Simba, yet only mentioned in the books. the books contains the history of TLK. I don't believe that Nala's father was Mufasa or Taka/Scar neither do I believe that Mufasa gave Taka his scar.
      and just because Kopa was never mentioned in the movie, does not mean the content of the books are wrong. I never heard of Kion until i saw the show.
      there are reasons why these are called theories, and two of them just happens to be false cause they're explained!! If you had watched the show The Lion Guard they clearly explained Nala is NOT the daughter of Taka nor Mufasa!! Same with Kovu, in the second movie, they literally said Kovu IS NOT the son of Scar while many thought he was cause they look alike

      That's what I'm about to say
      The effects of the snake's venom may have gotten wild. And that he refused to go to the tree of life to heal his scar, unlike what Kion did. If you saw the effects of the "cursed" scar to Kion, that's probably the effects of Scar, but he didn't go with any treatment until it got worse to the point of him thinking to murder Mufasa.
      It is also revealed that his birth name is "Askari" which means "soldier" or "police" and he was also named after the first leader of the lion guard. His birth name isn't Taka.
      Plus, the books aren't canon(though I love the stories and also Kopa). They were just approved by Disney. They were made by Grolier Enterprises Inc.
      In short, it's the cursed scar's fault for Scar to end up like he is(and if we saw any canonical evidence about favoritism, then we should count that in)

      On that theory, Scar may want to fight either for his love or for the throne, and he challenged Mufasa, resulting in a fight, leaving him scratches on his body, a pierce on his right ear, and a scar on his left eye down to his left cheek

      @theduskomega6658 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Different species of animals think differently of these things. They know that incest can lead to sick offspring, but in a lion pride there is usually only one or two grown males, so they don't have a choice. And lions do NOT eat their own kind. They are social cats, who WILL attack enemies, but only to protect their families and ensure a good amount of food. I will honestly say this now: I _despise_ people who treat animals like savages and don't consider that humans are animals too, that we are all related.

    For anyone who who does not get the scar and mufasa not being brothers theory, that was the original intention in earlier versions of the lion king, back when it was called "king of the jungle". Scar was originally a rouge lion until the producers decided to make scar mufasa's brother as they liked the idea of a enemy from within mufasa's family, which was why scar and mufasa didn't look alike.

    10. Dark. I love it!
    9. Is a bullied kid who becomes a school shooter the real victim? Discuss.
    8. Very probable. The Pridelands survived for a long time under Scar's rule, until the drought.
    7. Uhm, no. If that were true, Zazu would have just left Simba for dead.
    6. Absolutely. They just wanted to eat, which is what Mufasa did not allow them to do.
    5. Well, who says there weren't any warthogs? Nala didn't have a problem with that. I think he just didn't eat them because they were his friends.
    4. No. You're showing an image from the show 'The Lion Guard'. In that show, it is said that Nala's father was actually neither Mufasa nor Scar, but another lion.
    3. This could be true, if Scar wasn't a self-centered, manipulative murderer.
    2. Haha, that actually makes a lot of sense.
    1. Uhm, no. Why would Mufasa keep Scar in the Pridelands and not just chase him away? Now, half-brothers... That's a totally different question.

    I have some scary stories from my old house and some extra from my family. Here they are.
    1. My parents and I used to live in the house in St.Paul, Minnesota. The house was previously owned by my dads great uncle and aunt. When my parents first moved in my mom made some spaghetti (great aunts signature meal) she set down the plates and they suddenly flew across the table and stopped at the very end. My mom picked up the plates and checked if the table was wet and my dad checked if the table was tilted. It wasn’t. My parents think this happens because my great aunt HATED when people ate in the living room (a fold up table was set up in there).
    2. St.Paul house again (many of the stories are there) I was just 5 months old at this time and my mom and dad had just gotten back home. We all were asleep and my mom heard some creaking, she woke my dad. My dad said ur was just the pipes and to go back to sleep. This happened a couple more times, and then my dad heard it. They were footsteps. They were coming from the attic. My dad grappled a lamp and walked up the attic stairs. The footsteps stopped. My dad thought the intruder was waiting for him, so he threw open the door. There was nothing there. My parents called my grandparents so they could help us find new houses. My grandparents response was “We are at the cemetery right now. It’s Roger’s (my great uncle) death anniversary”. My dad told them the story and they told him that as a child Roger slept in the attic...
    3. One time my dad and his brothers went out and they decided to all sleep at the St.Paul house. My dad, younger uncle (Jordan), and older uncle (Chris) all went into the basement to grab pillows and blankets. They grabbed all the stuff they needed and Chris made sure to turn off all the lights (they were the old kind were you have to shut them off by pulling a string). However Jordan had to go back to the basement because he dropped a pillow. All the lights were on. Jordan ran upstairs and asked why Chris left the lights on. Chris was very confused and told him he was certain he turned them all off. It still is a mystery to this day.
    4. My great grandma’s mom was very sick and was sadly about to pass away. My great grandma went to sleep hoping that she will see her mother the next day. At around midnight she woke up and saw her mom with a strange glowing light around her. Her mom told her that everything was going to be okay and said she was going home and talked about how much she loved her. My great grandmother was not scared, she actually felt safe and comforted. Sure enough at 1:00 am she got ten call that her mother had passed on.
    5. This one still happens to this day. We have moved 3 times since the St.Paul house and for this story I will not say anything about my location. Every night at 1:00 am we hear a single knock. It happens right above my parents bed. My parents and I find this scary because 1. Our house is new so it doesn’t creak and 2. My great grandpa (husband of my great grandma from the previous story) died around that time. We haven’t found out much about this and I will keep you updated.
    7. This happened very recently. A couple weeks ago my dad and I were watching TV and my dad and I heard a noise like something g heavy had fallen. My dad turned around and saw a shadow walk out from the laundry room, he just assumed it was my mom. So he called to her to ask if she was okay. No reply. Again he asked. No reply. A couple minutes went by and my mom WALKED in from the garage. My dad turned pale. Before you ask, yes we have a dog, but she was right next to us. We go into the laundry room and see that the washing machine moved 4 feet across the room. This could just be from it being off centered, but that doesn’t explain the shadow...

    The second one don't hold up for me, especially not the idea that Timon got pumba into that life style also. As The Lion King 1/2 shows us, where Timon runs into pumba and they just hit it off with both trying to find that perfect place they can live in with no worries. Not to mention in the Lion King They say that Hakkuna mattata is ''Their'' Moto and not that its Timon's moto.
    Some of the other ones did not hold up either for me, but they were still interesting to hear.

    Most of these theories can be debunked from the canon books from the late 90s. It explains Scar's and Mufasa's childhood growing up (so they ARE brothers). Scar's real name is Taka and he got the scar from an accident with a buffalo. Also, Zazu was probably flying around looking for Simba and Nala, finding them in The Elephant Graveyard because he heard them screaming. Timon's philosophy can be explained with Lion King 1 1/2.

    • @Donika691

    10 : Wouldn't Mufasa have completely rotten by then?
    9 : There's a backstory of Scar and Mufasa's childhood where Scar had his name changed after a failed assassination attempt
    8 : Who told Simba to run from Pride Rock again?
    7 : No comment on this one, quite possible
    6 : The hyenas is more of a deutragonist, really
    5 : Nala hunts Pumbaa later on, so it's most likely that Simba don't want to eat his benefactor rather than not knowing they are edible
    4 : Well, yeah, she didn't get culled after all
    3 : So, now all but Hyenas and Lions are the only one not oppressed, much better
    2 : Lion King 1 1/2 shows that he's not the founder of "Hakuna Matata", and Pumbaa was the one with the idea to adopt Simba
    1 : No comment here, other than that's not how Hamlet went
