    I was very fortunate enough to have a chance to talk to him on one of his insta lives and he was so pleasant and down to earth to talk to. He even hummed a bengali song for me when he came to know that is my native language, he is truly a gem of a person. The first Pakistani drama I ever saw was one of his earlier dramas - Alvida E Dil and I have loved him since then. He was also exceptional good in THKN recently but sadly most scripts these days do not do justice to his craft. I wish him all the best in his latest project and also in life.

    I really liked his performance in THKN; it was such a beautiful project.
    I've seen his talent shine in previous good projects that he has done, so he should pick projects more carefully. While I understand his reasons for doing mainstream / commercial OTT stuff, I hope he prioritizes good scripts. Anyway, I'm excited to see his next project on Green TV with his KAM co-star, Sadia Khan.

    Mashallah 😍 amazing personalities Imran-Aamna and zabardasttt chat..much awaited & finally the wait is over. Thank you Aamna Ji & SH team.
    I have loved Imrans craft from the time I watched Tum kon ho Pita with Ayeza Khan & Mera naam Yousef hai with Maya Ali. Later watched Yaar e wafa & Alvida. Being a great & multi talented artist/singer, he knows his craft. But he should choose the right role and get good roles. He will do awesome justice as he performed in Tumhare Husn Ke Naam 😍👍👌👏
    I wish the best for his debut in punjabi Indian movie & all his future projects 👍😍

    I like Imran Abbas a lot💛....but i just wanna say something ....during ur discussion on RRR, Amna and Hasan were crying abt lack of Muslim representation in the movie even though there are lakhs of such characters and actors in Indian movies and dramas....but isn't it such a shame that there are hardly any Hindu actors or characters in Pak dramas (at the max it will be a Hindu servant)...i hope you guys don't hv double standards and raise this issue as much as possible.

    • @mahadfraaz218
      @mahadfraaz218 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +40

      I get what you’re saying, but one can’t deny the misrepresentation of Muslims as terrorists in Indian cinema. There are way too many films made in the last decade that are blatantly anti Muslim and especially anti Pakistani. There are also films where they do show Muslims living normally as well, but don’t you think that’s because of India’s demographics? Pakistan is 95% Muslim and maybe 2% Hindu whereas India is 80% Hindu and about 15% Muslim. For there population, that’s almost as much as the Muslims in Pakistan. So automatically, you’re going to get more Muslim characters and such in their media. If we had more Hindus, I’m sure there would be more representation

    However I don’t agree with him that criticism comes from frustrated souls. Sometimes criticism is meant to point out flaws so that the actor can improve himself. For eg. certain clothes or makeup is not suiting the actor it can be pointed out. For eg. I love Yumna and I find her very lovely but I thought her look in Tere Bin was making her look a bit old.

Let me add another phrase in this - Khoon bahana nahi hai badhaana hai..... This is also a Punjabi term. It means when you laugh or you are really happy, your blood increases..... means it is a good sign. So let us all work towards that. Thanks Amna for bringing this gem.

      It's not Bharti film but a movie by a British Indian director. The producers are in Bollywood. The plan is to destroy the Pakistani movie industry , and make money in Pakistan but don't allow Pakistani movies in India. They don't even send their actors to Pakistan for promotions. Why India is not allowing The legend of Maula Jatt in India? Zee TV bought the rights of Maula Jatt from phuddu producers of Maula jatt and then got it banned in India. Now Pakistan can't even release it on Netflix until India releases it in India. Meanwhile India has copied scenes, styles and background score of Maula jatt in Animal. More movies are being made in India with gandasa in hand.

    Lovely interview! This is how you do an interview with an actor who is there to promote a movie. As a viewer we both got to know about the content of the movie and got to know Imran better 👏

    Malal is one of my all time fav dramas and Imran was so good in that. Alvida was good too. I haven’t watched his recent ones but he’s a fine actor, unfortunate that our writers are writing such regressive hero characters for our talented actors. Good luck for his film!

    Thoroughly enjoyed the interview… Imran is as polished as he appears… The fact that he is an architect explains his great sense of style and his flair in the artsy things… Truly multitalented… He sings so well… What I admired most of all was that he was unapologetically honest… Loved how he explained that being alone and being lonely are not the same… As usual, Aamna you were absolutely awesome in the way you took the interview forward…

    He is the best and most humble actor, I have ever seen. Most of the actors today are too much materialistic, but he is a diamond from a coal mine from both Indian and Pakistani industry, I have ever seen.
