- Darlene (Sara Gilbert) gets a call from Becky's recovery program that she needs help participating and that a family therapy session could help. But Dan (John Goodman) and Jackie (Laurie Metcalf) need some convincing. Watch 'The Conners' on ABC and Hulu, streaming and on demand.

I generally liked The Conners as it started, but it had been fading for a bit for me, and this season just wasn’t doing it for me, but these characters have basically been a part of my whole life so I’ve stuck with it. These last four episodes have all been really solid thankfully.
That family has been *screaming* for therapy since the original series!

This episode was amazing. Becky reminds me of my sister. Had it all going for her in life and let a man ruin her life. Not saying mark is the complete blame because Becky made those choices. I just love how this show tackles real life situations.
Yes acting is superb and almost 3-d acting feeling.
When Becky says it wasn't all Mark's fault and Dan asks whose was it, Becky admits it was hers and that is when Dan softened up and realized she had finally come to terms with her problem and that the session wasn't going to be about pointing fingers at him, the way this scene set it up.

Great character growth for Becky. It was obvious all the way back in season 10 of Roseanne that she needed help.
Its hard to picture the Conner kids as full grown adults when I was so used to seeing them as bratty little kids.
What ever happened to Jackie's son Andy..She married Fred and had a son...they have yet to make mention of him..
Fans has said, during the FAKE "LOTTO" EPISODE, that jackie didnt have a son in the real word, just in the Fantasy one..

Why are you turning Dan into such a monster? Becky isn't pathetic because of Mark. He didn't have a svengali hold over her.
I know, right? Becky was being a selfish, bratty bitch to Roseanne and Dan ever since she met Mark and it makes no sense that Dan is being made out to be the bad guy when it's Becky's own fault that she has drinking problems.

Joanna Dietrich I agree when I watched the original Rosanne I always thought Mark was not good enough for Becky, here she was a straight A’s student and she was hanging around with this punk he was a loser, she had her sights set on College.The one episode where Becky got into the fight when Dan and Roseanne were losing the Bike Shop and Becky tells her dad he blew it for everybody. (Roseanne should have slapped her silly) then she runs off and gets married to him.

I think they loved each other, plus the last couple of shows saw Becky and Mark moving into a trailer. Mark was even working with Dan as a mechanic for the city. Becky realized after she saw Darlene doing so well, that she told Roseanne that she wanted to go back to school, because she knew that she had potential. I don’t know what happened after that because soon after they hit the lottery 😂

This show is a soap opera....it's no good, it's not funny, so many friends have stopped watching it, without Rosanne it's just a soap opera drama.....I stopped watching when they kicked Rosanne off, ratings in the toilet, but they keep this boring depressing show on to show it's better without Rosanne....They Are Completely Wrong.... unfortunately these so called comedies are no longer funny....same with these Boring late night hosts....and real comedy shows are saying goodbye this year.....comedy is dead, tv shows are dead, movies or dead......sports is dead......
