Yeah thanks Bill! It's getting there, It's been a long time coming, I should have put it in primer a long time ago because I can really see where the issues are now. with primer on it.
Cool progress Robert!!! It’s coming together nicely!!! I like the custom console you have going there, nice work!!! Thanks for sharing and have a great week!!!👍🏽🤙🏽
G'Day Rob, It's great to see the top off and some primer down for the amazing paint job you're gonna do. I can't wait to see which way you decide to paint it. Remember to enjoy the build. It's the most fun. From the other side of the pond, Rob.
Very Nice Robert!! Glad to see you have it sprayed, this will help motivate you and it will protect the metal at the same time!! I love the smoothness you have in all the edges and the doors with the modified body line it is going to be epic!
Yep Brian A lot of things to know about proper body work that I didn't realize because of the experience factor. Preaching to the choir but you know what I'm talking about too much heat to a body panel. Having proper alignment. Next time I will sand with 80 and 150 before I put primer. Still a work in progress. 👍
Oh yeah that's for sure It's been a long time coming. Not much experience with body work but I'm getting there. And yes it does help to see it in primer because I see a lot more mistakes that I couldn't see.
I've learned a lot about this process Glen . I've talked to a lot of different people about it, and watched a few videos, but there still isn't anything better than doing it yourself and figuring out how you can do it. One of the things is I would finish it off in 80 grit and then go to 150 and then prime.
Billy!!!! Thanks for stopping in. Yeah Billy I'm learning a lot in the process of body work primer block sanding etc. I'm 64 years old. The last time I did body work was when I was 17, times have changed! bought my first gallon of Bondo from Kmart and a red sanding block. 😂
Thanks Bryce ! Yep it's been a challenge trying to figure out how to do body work. I've watched a lot of videos, listen to a lot of opinions, trying to figure out what works best for me.
Progress is progress no matter how long it takes. Life gets in the way for most of us, it sucks but it is what it is. A little bit everyday goes a long way.😎👍
Hey Vino. The Vino Rat is looking real nice. I'm liking it for sure. But if you get it looking too good, can you still call it a Rat Rod? Thanks for sharing.👍👍🍁
That's a great question Andy! Just think Andy if you went to a rat rod prom when you were in high school, and you wanted to win over the prettiest rat rod female, would you want to go as an old dilapidated rat rod? or would you want to be the handsomeness rat rod at the prom 🤔
Thanks . Yep I really enjoy working on the car. The bodywork has been very difficult because I'm learning as I go. But I do have a good eye for what doesn't look right. 😂 So that's the part that takes the longest is doing all the repairs. Thanks for stopping in.
Are Rat Rods allowed to have primer? I wonder if there is rule book somewhere that explains details like amount of rust required, or how many scratches is enough scratches. You could be ushering in a new era in ratting. Where else can a rat rod sit on a chair? This is a cool channel.
It's about time 🤨
Robert, She is looking great!!! Tons of progress! It will be fun seeing the motor come together. This made my day!!!

Thanks Matt. Getting it in primer I can see the issues I need to fix most definitely.

Yep Rob I do enjoy the build. Hot Rod black on the metal parts of the car , and a transparent red wine color on the wood.

Nice! Keep making progress!
Thanks! Yeah I really didn't have much experience with Bondo, but definitely can see with the primer on it what I have to fix.
@@VinoRatRodbuilds I have little experience with body work in general. Pretty impressed by people willing to try! Can’t wait to see how it progresses!
Looks slick, I like it! Will we be seeing the engine work?
Well I hope so Dave! I tried last week but things didn't work out that great. Yeah after I looked at it it was just a terrible video.
