This was a fun video. Love the Mercedes. Just as a heads up, read your owner's manual. You can go into the menu on the screen and adjust the sensitivity of the throttle paddle. I have mine down at #1 for on-road because it allows you to adjust your speed slower which makes it easier to operate at low speeds even when in a higher gear! Give it a try! (If I remember correctly, it's setting "Pa". Cheers!
@@garyschenck6271 -- I'd buy it again at this point. It's specs were competitive against ones that were $1,500 and up. I've gotten it to 35 miles an hour and also I use it to go to the race track. I used it everyday for four days straight without charging it and it finally died the last day. The controls are real nice, clean, and intuitive. Honestly what impressed me the most was the build quality. The parts are made so nicely and it doesn't seem like any corners were cut.
I went to your link to look up the scooter's specs, I was mainly looking for the weight, which shows as 69.6lbs, my question there, does that listed weight include the attachable seat in the listed weight?
I would figure out a way to hook up a wagon to take this on and off campus for football tailgating. This would be perfect. Would only have to go 1 mile or so.
I think they're cool pricey Iittle toys . I have Segway that needs new batteries. The police are actually pulling people over where I live for riding on the sidewalks 😔. What's with that ? a majority are just little kids having fun 🤔 lol. Seems the karen's are upset & calling the cops 😂. Salute 🐵🙆👍
Just pulled the trigger on this as I needed a lightweight commuter escooter with air tires and full suspension (I have a bad knee), relatively fast speed and some torque to go up hills. This seemed to be the perfect fit and it was less than $700! Can't wait to try it out
I'm so mad my sons tire tube back one popped and I contacted ausom they were no help at all, this is a pricey scotter I don't know how to change 9r even get a tube for it near me I'm in fontana ca
I would love to have that scooter but sadly it's a little out of my price rage and even though I do have a E~Bike right now but I'm actually looking for a faster E~Bike or a Scooter like that one.
You know, you could always do what I did: get a used, older, chain-driven sealed lead acid scooter, then swap in a new motor, speed controller and Li ion batteries. Final result was a total build cost of $575, and that got me a 2017 Lunar Scooter LS 1200 donor frame, a 48V 2000W motor (and BLDC controller) and (30AH) worth of Li-ion cells, all packed in a steel chassis with full suspension and 10" pneumatic tires (~80LB vehicle weight). Top speed (so far) is 39MPH (stock gearing), range is just over 40 miles. I can also carry 50+ LBS in the attached storage basket, making it a great grocery getter (I actually use my scoot instead of a cart at the grocery store). Furthermore, the basket is easily removable for use as a mobile maintenance platform (great for tire patches). I haven't used either of my ICE vehicles in months thanks to building this e-scoot. One summer's worth of gasoline-cost savings have already more than paid it off (both my vehicles are in-line 4 cylinder, so still pretty efficient.) I'm now working on a dual-hub motor 60V scoot (a Yume Y11) I got for free from someone's trash pile (it's a little crispy from a small battery fire). That one should be closer to $850 once fully rebuilt. Both times, other people have told me to "just let it die" and go out and get a new scoot, but much like you I can't quite afford that upfront cost. The benefit to building it yourself is: you can often build it better than the factory offering for the same (or lesser) cost.
Me too i have a ebike & a scooter but i want them both to to faster my scooter only goes 15mph & my bike can get to 25mph wish they didn't cost so much
I know it says weight limit 265lbs but has anyone put more on it? I have a scooter at home and im 265 and i take my daughter with me which will put it at 300lbs. Will this electric scooter hold it? Looks strong built
Hey Mike it's well Mike again w ur logo email...I just rode rhe veo scooters here in Rochester ny and man are they fun! I wish I could get a e scooter or e bike wink wink 😉

Do wonder how various states view this, and other electric gizmos that don't have pedals. Especially those, like this scooter, that capable of speeds similar to mopeds.

How are you going to do a scooter review and not hit max speed to see if it actually goes to the stated max speed. 2/10 review. What a horrendous waste of my time this video was. Don’t ever review another scooter for the sake of us all.
How's it holding up sir?
Mike thanks for the videos on your channel cuz I went out and bought 1 that I seen your demo thanks buddy

Yeah mine is after 500 miles lol
Do they sell out fast ?
Hey I really appreciate you taking the time to review this!
How has it held up overtime? I’ve been considering it but I’m kinda scared…
It’s funny. My daughter just asked me about these scooters. Thanks for the review.
Thanks for helping Randy out for twelve hours mike! You are awesome!
It was worth it. What a cool truck!
@@MonkeyWrenchMike yes it is!
What about customer service? If ther is any.
Great review. I bought one new at an auction and was going to resell it but now , it looks like a lot of fun, so I’m going to keep it and ride it. Lol
Boys and their toys!!! Love it
Good job on your friends SSR
Why do you have seat to low all rhe time?? Dont understand??
Short legs… lol
What’s the distance you get on yours?

The seat comes with the scooter
@@WManzz-l9vhis question was how much does it weigh without the scooter. i think i saw somewhere that the seat is like 4lbs.

Why does it says 2 wheel drive I only see rear wheel drive
Surprised you didn't put this on the Tech channel but it does look really fun

I ordered my extra inner tubes directly from ausom on the website. You can look for a local shop and have them replace it for you.

The zondoo brand is the cheapest e-bike/ scooter I've seen for what you get I'm not sure how the quality is though
