I'm a Captain of B-777 and this sim doesn't look much more arcadish then the others for me. It lacks CDU programming and ATC communication, but this is it. In all other aspects it's not inferior to other sims. But to tell you the truth CDU programming, as well as MCP operation isn't accurate in all the details even in the best of the best sims, and ATC com isn't the most thrilling part of the flight. Wonderful VR gives more feeling of realism to me.
@@dmitrya513 Cool… I did the Tropical ETOPS tests out of Kona Hawaii for the Rolls Royce engines conversion from the GE engines for the B777 when I worked for the FAA. That is why the signals continued working for FLT MH370… the Rolls engines used a different cable run. But for the Areosoft sim… very gamey compared to PDMG, X-plane, and MSFS. The views in VR were great, but the aircraft characteristics were not that good.
@@thatguy7085 No sim is perfect, you know. And sometimes chasing hyper realism leads to oversimulation that annoys not less than gamey style. I haven't tried everything and cant judge on the whole. But PMDG 777 for FSX & P3D being really great in terms of systems simulation and hitting buttons (not perfect yet) but has nothing to do with reality in terms of landing controllability. As for me Aerofly's version of B-777 is better in this. Maybe it's a matter of my controls setup, I dont know. But still... Let alone a single plane could differ from itself more than from the other depending on weight and conditions. For example, light 767 is very much like 757. And it's a completely different story when it's heavy. I don't know does it worth to simulate all of it in PC sim and how accurate that would be. But even on FFS a limited set of weights/conditions combination is used for the purpose of training. To say near-DOW, typical commercial TOW, near-MTOW and near-MLW. Ok in Aerofly there is only one fixed set. I don't see a big problem in this for an entertaining PC sim. In a nutshell PC sim is still a PC sim, thats why I'm so forgiving ;-)
EXCELLENT - certainly the future of flight sims.....Just found your channel - 🙂 I also enjoyed your "working" comments - for a bit there I thought you might stay below glideslope, but it captured itself before terrain - great fun indeed...you might consider adding a bit of power (trim nose slight down) under these type of circumstances - especially at night - Cheers
Hey bro can you make a video unless you have already on how to setup the flight plane in this game I’m pretty confused like how do I tell your cruising altitude and speed
Another fantastic experience in Aerofly FS4. If you love flight simulators and have a VR headset around, this is definitely worth checking out!
Excellent video! Can you do a kick one flying F-18C or F-15E?
how do you control the rudders?

This was the first really good VR sim with real world scenery. (FS2)
It just seemed very acrcadish
Is it possible to connect a yoke and still be in vr?
yes@@Shrimp9

Love your video's man! Definition of underrated right here.

Thanks buddy. Really appreciate your comment!
Wow! Very underrate it, bravo on the work! New sub ;)
Thanks Velocity! I appreciate the comment! And welcome!
Just next time land with full flaps and around 150-160 knots. Great video though!
You are extremely underrated.
Been waiting for this vid for a while! My decision is final; I am GETTING this game when I have enough momey
if you set the VNAV it will descend for you the only thing you have to do is set the alt and the VNAV will do the rest
Two things. Is there a checklist? Also, can the color of the gloves be changed? Very nice videos.
never stowed flaps after takeoff and never extended them to landing configuration.
in the 787 you can start both engines at the same time 😉
it's insane that this same sim is on mobile
Hi, i have a meta quest 2, but I don’t know how to use it with Aerofly, maybe you have some tutorials
🎉🎉🎉❤
How to you click item on the touch screen, does not seem to work for me.
v2 is after rotation, you should call v1 then rotate

Is it possible to connect a yoke while still being in vr
Yeah of course! I think the majority of simmers im vr have a yoke connected!
If anyone wanted to hijack a plane this is the setup to get. You can learn to start and taxi it and take off. Nice.
The are better setups than this.
Need this on PSVR2!
would be awesome indeed!
please answer can it run with a gtx1650?
I think you will have a hard time running this game in vr with that card
ryzen 5 5600
ghost 3060ti
16gb ram
quest 2
is possible to run??
Yes, you will have a great time! Aerofly FS4 is very optimized for VR, even for the somewhat lower specs!
@@laubox thanks, will check it out later. Now unavailable due to distal radius fracture-need sometimes to heal
I can't find the game??!
Did no one see the name “Tinder date (super toxic)” with a covid logo?
Bro play a aerofly boeing 777 gameplay vr ok
Is it free?😢
Do you work for no money?
Be careful what you say about Boeing. I heard they like to unalive the naysayers. 😬
"promo sm" 😅
