- In this edition of The Star War, you play as the legendary Boba Fett on a quest to shoot 100 of every type of alien. Only by blasting a thousand Greedos to smithereens can you hope to stand a chance against Count Dooku's evil apprentice of the week.

It is canon that Assaj Ventress was given Komari Vosa's lightsabers once Dooku began teaching her. He also had another apprentice who was a Chiss named Sev'rance Tann. I have no idea why dooku keeps teaching evil women but i guess we all have a type.

It WAS canon. It happened in the 2003 clone wars show, but that stopped being canon. So the origin as it stands is that Dooku just sorta had them???
@@Decabus I looked it up and a section on a book they made recently did go into lightsabers and explained that Vosa did exist and ventress uses her sabers. So she is canon again but the exact story on what happened to her is vague

The fact that in Borderlands 2 Wilhelm doesn't do the Wilhelm scream upon death is a crime against humanity.
With the level of humour in those games I was genuinely shocked when I first killed him. I kept thinking he'd be back somehow just because of that

the nightsisters of dathomir appeared pretty early on in the Star wars EU. I forget what the book was called but it wasn't one of the better ones.

The Hapan Battle Dragons, introduced in Courtship, are some of my favorite Legends capital ships. They have a rotating ring of turbolasers that cycle through the actual guns themselves while they are cooling, bringing fresh guns to the front while the others cool in the back, also I'm just a sucker for flatter, disc-shaped ships.
Courtship of Princess Leia was nice shut up.

@Starwarsgeek12 yeah Battle Dragons were such a cool ship design, I was so sad when the super weapon in the Corellia system wiped out their fleet in New Jedi Order. Or was it Legacy of the Force? I can't remember, I just remember being bummed that so many Battle Dragons were destroyed.
Local Star Wars nerd here to answer two questions:
Were the dathomir witches created yet? Yes! Dave Wolverton created the planet and its inhabitants with his novel Courtship of Princess Leia in 1994. The planet and the witches would be seen all throughout the lore after its release.
Komari Vosa, the dark jedi you fight, is one or Dooku's apprentices gone psycho. Her lightsabers that you retrieve in this game are actually Assaj Ventress', we see Dooku gift them to her in Tartakovky's Clone Wars micro series.
Also, as a bonus - theres a really dope short comic they made as a tie-in to this game and a fix for a particular continuity flub created by the prequels, called Jango Fett: Open Seasons. Its all about his upbringing and his history with the Mandalorians. Its pretty darn great, and you can unlock the comic in the game. The author was Hayden Blackmen, who also wrote the incredible Battle of Jabiim comic arc found in Republic, but most famously was the lead for The Force Unleashed.
Loved this game as a kid. It's still one of my all time favorites.

The Witches of Dathomir had long been invented at this point, they just hadn't been completely flanderized by TCW. Komari is just a former Jedi who got broken by the Bando Gora.

This game was one of my favorite games as a kid. Such a great power fantasy and excellent use of the Star Wars license. I went back and played it a little recently and yes the controls are really bad by modern standards but I think it still holds up as an excellent game. I can keep hoping for a modern remaster.

This game brings back beautiful memories. The thing I remember most was how dope Komari Vosa was. She was an easy boss fight, but I loved her design and voice.
My personal favorite star wars game. We need a Bounty Hunter 2 with Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett.
I really loved this game when I was younger. Any opportunity to play as Jango Fett is a plus.

Witches of Dathomir and Nightsisters was from an early 90s book, Courtship of Princess Leia. They popped up in a bunch of EU stuff before Kate Lucas wrote the Nightsisters episodes for the tv show. But I'm pretty sure this boss isn't a witch or Nightsister, she's just a rogue Jedi.

Witches from Dathomir came from the book The Courtship of Princess Leia. The Clone Wars just made them canon again and Retconned Asajj as one of them.
