Good video J&B. You're absolutely correct on 2010's being mostly in bad condition. I've looked over several hundred dollars worth and finding a good, problem free specimen with minimal spotting is quite a difficult task and none of the ones I've found would grade out at anything close to MS-67. On a side note, they may not be worth the same price as an MS-67 but there are doubled die obverses known for this coin that are fun to find as well. Thanks for all your hard work, see ya in the next one.

Hello J∆B . I can't believe this I just went to the coin star with all the Shields I had aquire around 5,000 but I looked at every Lincoln cent and kept one only one out of all those cents . I was going to look up the coin and see the history of the cent now I'm hoping it's the 2010 lol thank you so much J∆B for the video and info

I have a 2010(no mint)shield penny that is thicker that all other shields that I have. The regular shield measures 1 centimeter and this one measures around 2 centimeters. This confused me because the edge of the coin has a thick nickel rim with a high raised thin copper rim. The obverse and reverse is sunk down into the thin copper rim. It weighs 2.5 grams. I have never seen a shield like this before. Could it be struck on a different planchet. Confused! By the way, I love your website.

Honestly I don't care for the shield cent whatsoever. I think it's boring and ugly nevermind the fact that it's almost impossible to find with a high grade. Any other reverse used up until the shield would be much better. It wouldn't hurt to change the composition either.

Also I hit the link to show you a 2010 with the letters “S of “ from the presidential inauguration from 2009 on the 8oclock rim of my 2010. I know it’s that 1 sue to the different “f” . The link don’t exist. Maybe you’ll hear about w hopefully.
