    There's something about Gorod that outstand them among many Death Metal bands and I think that it's "groove", like Pantera. Their music is kinda danceable! Michael Jackson woulda made a nice choreography to their playing!

      You hit it right on the money man. No other tech-death band grooves like Gorod.

      that and how their melodies actually make sense, like necrophagist.

      Alberny Nicolas Reasons to go to France: Katsuni, Gorod, Jessie Volt, Eiffel Tower and French. In that order. :-)

    This is simply one of the best songs I've ever heard. After hearing Birds of Sulfur for the first time, I had to hear every Gorod song ever released, by Album, in chronological order. It was probably the best playlist ever made

    Absolutely fantastic, this is one of the reasons why Gorod is one my favourite bands ever! Come back to Italy!!

    One of my top fave technical death metal bands of today! Please do some more for your fans! And we can't wait for your next album! A Perfect Absolution was album of the year 2012 for me!

    After listening to a bit of Al Di Meola I realized that the solo ending part is a quote from the song Senor Mouse!
    Great influences, this part sounds great in this context!

    Awesome, video, Nick. I truly hope you guys will come back to the US, and hopefully do more than one Florida show! I missed you when you were at the Brass Mug in Tampa (which I was pretty upset about). Maybe next time you guys should consider Revolution Live in Ft. Lauderdale? It's a really nice venue.

    Easily the best album I've purchased since Omnivium. Well, I like A Loathing Requiem's album too. But i would have to give it to Gorod ultimately. Oh SoP's album too obviously. I dunno I can't remember all of them lol, it's at the top, that's for sure.

    How much of the writing is yours? It's impressive you can play this stuff, but even more so that this stuff can just come out of your brain. Especially 1:22 that's nuts.

    That's a pretty interesting way to hold an position a pick. Does it offer a substantial advantage?

    • @markgorney2810
      @markgorney2810 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Alberny Nicolas Oh sorry, it's just the angle at which you hold the pick that I haven't seen before. It looks (maybe just because of the camera angle) like the outside of the pick is angled upwards. I tried it with three and four string skipping at 230 bpm and it is really fluid. I like it.

    Great video, do you mind telling us what kind of equipment you use? I really love your tone, probably my favorite tech death guitar tone, so clean yet still sounds punchy and brutal. Keep up the good work guys can't wait for the next album Perfect Absolution was my favorite Gorod album to date and that's harsh competition.
