as a 5 i love how 8s dont get scared of the truth and the more direct and honest i am the more they love me, which fascinated me

Im a type 5 and what I like about 8's is their brute honesty and and how they take responsibility for every single action. I used to shy away from 8's because their intense energy was too much for me to handle, but now I know where it comes from. They have a need for strength and they expect everyone around to be just as strong and they tend to test others for the same intensity that they bring.

I'm a Type 4 and what I admire about 8s is that, more than any other type, I feel like I can trust them to be honest with me.

Thank you for putting these shows together! I've been reading a few books and its really another thing to hear the various perspectives from real people gathered in this way.

My goodness, I resonate with this so much. It took a lot of talk therapy, travel, sweat lodges, massage, meditation, singing genuine praises in church and crochet to learn how to just be, be present, be in love, be in my body and in my heart. I can spot manipulators, liars a mile off and am extremely protective. I think the funniest part of this video for me is when the lady admitted to wanting to be a Nun and how hard it was to ask for help.....ditto. Thank you so much for posting this.

"I want to be met by someone that can hold their ground". I just related to that 110%.

These interviews were amazing! I related so much to so much of what they said. Hearing them in their own words was very beneficial!

That l understand. Am 47 years and to tell you the truth all the fight has gone out of me but there are moments followed by self reflection instead of hitting the wall. Thanx for the response.

An 8 is compounded when you are in the 1st part of life before 40yrs after that an 8 evolves and nothing is a fight anymore but a healthy way to get justice for self, others and the universe.

"Darker aspects..." there is no such thing. Moral clouding will always confuse, obscure and warp a true understanding of the energy of the enneagram.

I'm a Type8(healthy) with a subtype of 2. I do LOVE people who challenge me. They always seem to captivate my interest... Because I like my own discoveries and thoughts but I welcome anyone who presents me an unemotional and sensible argument to consider. My MBTI plays among INTJ/INTP/INFJ. My T and P are often in the middle. My Right brain and Left brain are also often in the middle. Highly introspective but I do not think I am that smart in terms of Academics or memorizing that's why even though I am mostly INTJ, I am not as arrogant or as dismissive of a lot of other types of people. I understand and sort of relate to many types. A bit more diplomatic.
