I used their 2x48 grinder for forever. They make good machines. You should be able to turn the top wheel a little to get your tracking right.

Seems like a nice machine. It's going to improve your firepower for sure. How fast does the bigger one rotates ? I'm always afraid to overheat the steel, as I've managed to burn a few tips on some clients knives even on the worksharp elite (full speed though, 220 grit belt). Nothing I couldn't fix right away with my tormek, but still...😢

Thanks! When modifying the bolster of a knife or in various other sharpening situations sometimes it’s nice to have access to the wheel.

That Kalamazoo does edge leading?

That purple belt come with it?
Nope. From supergrit.com. I think it’s called a Bora-7 belt.
@@HonedByJones I’ve got a Viel belt sander that I converted to variable speed motor and boy having problems with it. Both pulleys are 4in diameter to hold 1 inch belts by 42. Belt flies off and top pulley jumps out due to spring tension. Don’t know what else to do.
