Not a hater of repo guys . I had my new truck repossessed because of sickness in my family . I didn't say a word I knew it was going to happen I had worked my butt of in gas oil and coal mines then I had family sick so I had to take a lesser paying job I knew it was coming . But some or most repo guys enjoy it too much . The guy that repod my truck said he loved doing it . Smh . I'm not sore about it I will get it all back but I guess someone got to do it
It’s not your boat until the final payment he’s cleared. So now she has possibly got herself an assault charge as well. If she has successfully unhitched the boat they could add theft as well as the boat is legally his and was attached to his vehicle.
If you call your creditor and explain the situation they might work with you. I have called lenders and made arrangements to skip a payment and then add it back to the end of the loan.

Why do you do these repos in the day when people are home and confrontations are inevitable? A good repo guy wants to do it quietly and without confrontations. That’s why it’s done overnight when people are sleeping.

Good luck. Depending on what that contract says, you might end up in the hospital waiting to see the judge. Most loan contracts give legal authority for a repoman to take down a fence if that's what it takes. The only legal way to keep them away is have a locked enclosed garage.

Have you ever bought a boat without a trailer? It's a package deal. Paperwork will have the trailer ID number also.
