David Tynan O'Mahony (6 July 1936 - 10 March 2005), known professionally as Dave Allen, was an Irish comedian, satirist, and actor. He was best known for his observational comedy. Allen regularly provoked indignation by highlighting political hypocrisy and showing disdain for religious authority. His technique and style have influenced young British comedians.
Initially becoming known in Australia in 1963 and 1964, Allen made regular television appearances in the United Kingdom from the late 1960s until the mid-1980s. The BBC aired his Dave Allen Show from 1971 to 1986, which was also exported to several other European countries. He had a major resurgence during the late 1980s and early 1990s. His television shows were also broadcast in the United States, Canada, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Yugoslavia, Australia, and New Zealand.
He delivers his jokes like he's James Bond or something.

Look up the videos here on youtube with the trans movement where they are trying to shame people into having sex with trans people. That is actual trying to make people have homosexual relationships by compulsion. The form of "compulsion" is irrelevant to the fact that there is an effort to make something compulsory. If you think that just because the compulsion does not have the force of law behind it then you are just going out of your way to ignore the problem at this point.

Dave Allen was one of the best comedians. He came to Australia, and we loved him. He had his own show. He then went to the UK and made a name for himself in comedy. He was originally from Ireland.
Britain then Australia then back to Britain. He lasted 6 months on Australian TV after telling a producer who was pressing for an ad break to "go away and masturbate" lol.....but yes, he was highly successful here during that short stint.
He did a presentation on hos Australian show on how to get out of a submerged car

And homosexually was completely allowed 2,000 years ago (except in conservative pagan circles, we have evidence of liberal pagans defending homosexuals against conservative pagans). It's still illegal for schools to teach philosophy, no school has been able to given the backlash from faulty parents

I remember watching Dave Allen at Large and Benny Hill growing up. 2 of my favorite shows
In my area as a kid it was WPGH 53 out of Pittsburgh right after Benny Hill.
It is no wonder Gen-X ended up with a healthy sense of humor and an appreciation of the absurd.

Wow. The Dave Allen show. Used to watch it on our local PBS station waaay back in the early -to mid 1980s here in the states. His humor , skits and monolog-?- were most def adult edgy even then. Dave Allen at Large was shown on my local PBS station when I was a kid. Hilarious. But I remember being surprised when I noticed he was missing part of his index finger. Every once in a while he would reference it in a joke. Thanks for posting.

I came back to your comment after watching it, because it prompted me to apply it in this context. So I'd say this, "It's already been written, it's already been said, people sell their soul for a slice of bread" because the tyre can be a metaphor for butt cheeks, as in I'll give you something if you reach into my pants for it and males are more at risk of this because they tend to need money more.

@@decrulez Oh dear, the highlight of my and my generation’s week was watching Dave Allen, both the DA Show and DA at Large. He was a great comedian and I still watch him now and then. Life in my day wasn’t to be taken seriously all the time but to be enjoyed, which is exactly what my initial comment reflects. Thank you.

Loved Dave Allen! As a kid I was allowed to stay up late and watch him if I'd been a good boy during the week. At 10 some of the jokes went over my head but god when he was funny he was hilarious!

Dave Allen, is one of my favourite stand up comedians, the modern day ones are not a patch on him, many people think he was anti-Christian, he had respect for people that believed, that's why he ended his shows by saying may your God be with you, he just had a dig at the hierarchy, not the Christian believers, nowadays they're pushing transsexuality and on young children too, which should come under the child abuse act,

I have seen precisely 0 examples of any attempt to "push" anything on kids. Explaining to kids of a certain age when questions begin about this aspect of life in a proper manner and saying it's ok to be and do anything as long as you don't wrong anyone, and that only you have the right to decide for yourself these things in life is not brainwashing, it's the opposite: training someone to be smart, powerful and independent.

Dave is shining a light of the persecution of people for the sexuality. Like lots of comedians, shining a light on the audience. The punch line is the intolerance and yet its shocking to read the intolerance in comments today.

I watched Dave Allen as a kid on PBS. Ran on the same night as Monty Python. As a kid, it was cool to hear humor that most adults don't think kids can even understand.

They teach this in schools so that kids growing up won't be too shocked
