Probably for the best. One of the most overrated tourist destinations in Seattle. Terrible company and coffee. Starbucks is so bad that they have to add a bunch of crap to your drink to make it palatable. Plain coffee from Starbucks is terrible.
Feeling for the employees. Trying to encourage a happy environment then having their windows attacked. It hurts. Not corporately, but personally. We need enough police officers to be able to patrol. We need the city politic to support them checking out suspicious behavior rather than just responding to crime scenes. And we need a judicial system that recognizes jailtime is the best opportunity for these street criminals to seek other careers.
Sorry visitors!! Please try one of the many many many locations in the surrounding areas. When I’m visiting someplace new I like to get off the beaten path and see what the locals are up to. And as locals we definitely love our Starbucks. Thanks for visiting!!
@@pressnblogs the original location was at 2000 Western Avenue for five years (but it really mainly only sold beans it wasn't like the current version of sbux). Just in time for tourism to start….welcome to Seattle.
So the city of Seattle isn't able to patrol the three block street through Pike Place market
Ya, thats right..
basically, yes
Yeah
Sounds like the police defunding may have consequences?
Starbucks not state owned they must hire security on their dime!
Anybody surprised?…….
Nop. It's sad and it sucks that we cannot have nice things.
No
Nope. I did not go seattle for 5 yers.
Um... no.
Sad to see how far down Seattle has gone in the past 10 years. It's like for every good person that left, two trash people have moved in.

Are you implying criminal conduct for political ends should be expected? Dear Don Trump would love you on one of the juries.
@julesjames593 my brother in christ, cracking down on employees for unionizing is criminal conduct for the sake of a political end
And the city of Seattle does nothing.
I don't like Seattle, Washington, no parking, drugs and pickpockets😎
Does it mean I'm old if i remember when that store opened it 's doors for the first time ?
yes

It's about time the original Starbucks has permanently closed.
It’s deja vu all over again
Couldnt happen to a nicer company..

It tastes burnt. Burner strong. Terrible. I never go there.
@@FlintYeastwood what a silly comment…..your opinion is way in minority. And it’s the vandals that closed us. Not the good corporation. Gad.

Yes. People taking pride in their jobs, and then this happens. This is absolute crap. Seattle, what is your response???

it's only a matter of time that Starbucks Corporate flees Washington for saner pastures
I was born there, and it's sad to say it's a sh*thole now
Starbucks, you didn’t deserve this. I love your matcha green tea. 🍵
Seattle is pretty much walking dead
Is that what the video looked like to you? Hahaha
Can't blame you for this take when you're always hunkered down and jacking off to the fear porn
This is not the original Starbucks. King5, please do better!
What makes you say it's not the original? I think you are misinformed
This is the oldest Starbucks. The original closed decades ago.

Glad all the tourist got to see the real Seattle and how it treats its businesses !
I would like to visit this Starbucks original restaurant👻
Seattle got what they voted for so don't feel bad.
Are you upset you're not getting what you voted for? Get used to it cause you're never NEVER N E V E R going to get Trump in office again.

Original Starbucks is a popular landmark especially for tourists. Please reopen.
Good Riddance ...try Oklahoma
