At the least! Needs a lot of work. If a boat needs this much cosmetic work you can count on a lot more necessary work to start cruising or living on full time.

Jordan, While I like looking at the Power boats you show. As affordable liveaboard boats. The one thing that you always seem to gloss over. Is taking more time to talk about its electronics. Or other equipment on board. Example. On this boat. You did not even bother opening the Hall closet. Maybe there could have been a Washer and dryer in there. Probably wasnt. However, Seeing this closet. Could have given someone an idea if you could install a Washer/Dryer in there during a Refit. No mention as to how many hours on the motors. Or if they have been rebuilt. You rush through the boats. To be honest. I currently Live in Illinois. I am moving to Florida in August. And I am currently looking for a LiveABoard boat. These videos. Help people like me to see what is out there. Brokers dont always advertise every boat. Only the ones they want you to see. Im sorry for my rant. I know its long. I just wish you would take more time. And actually talk about the boat. Thanks for reading this.

Great tour. While this is advertised as a "Trawler" a boat with two MAN D 2866 LE 401 for a total of 900 horsepower is hardly a trawler, more like a Performance Offshore Cruiser. Needs a lot of work, there's surely major rot under those decks, the upper cabin roof is in bad shape, the whole interior needs paint, and no doubt once you get into this thing you're going to find soft spots everywhere. $100K purchase, 2000 hours of sweat equity and $30000 in supplies and you'd have a nice fuel guzzler :)

BTW, that "thing" in the front to keep the water off is called a Portuguese Bridge. If you want to see nicer arrangements in the same size, check out 1980's pilot house motor yachts.

Your “review” lacks important info…engine/generator hours? Have they been overhauled? Do they need overhaul? This was a beautiful boat just 26 years ago. This poor condition didn’t happen overnight. @@norarivkis2513 but this channel is not a brokerage site. its a touring site to show what they look like over all and what the asking price is. the world is moving away from watching videos on computers, watching on phones, tablets, who doesent have a smart tv now that they can watch everything on, putting a asking price as of the date of the video is not a contract that it has to be for sale for ever at that price. but its just information of what the seller is asking as of the time of the video production. its not likely that a person will have been able to save or set that larger amount of money aside to buy a large dollar item like a boat if they cant figure out that it was only the asking price when the video was made...there are other people making these style of videos also. who do put the asking price in the video. we've started to watch them also. @@wetcoastnoel Most people I know watch videos primarily on their tablets or phones, not on televisions -- in fact, I know fewer and fewer people who bother to own a television at all, because it's so much more convenient to watch everything on phone or tablet -- and you can easily pull up the description on a phone or tablet; I do it all the time. So it looks like they're "staying relevant" just fine for the sector of the population in my circles... but I don't make the mistake of confusing "people like me" necessarily for "people in general."
I trust the channel hosts to be tracking the needs of their own viewers better than either you or I are doing. They're the ones who would know whether people are watching _their_ channel mostly on TVs or mostly on tablets and phones. But I would find it really irritating to get information on my video that I couldn't assume was correct anymore. This whole thing is not nearly as one-sided as you think it is, because you're not taking into account the existence of anybody who isn't just like you.

Probably lots of places I could look if I did want to tour power boats. I'm just not motivated to do so.
PS - Months ago you mentioned or hinted at what kind of new sailboat (catamaran) you were going to get. There's been no word about that topic for a LONG time. Do you have anything new about that? Maybe that only involved the used trimaran you bought and are working on.

There are many of us that requested they tour motor yachts as well as sail
It broadens their nautical experience as well as many ot their audience
The key 🔑 word here is
BOATS 🚢 ⛵ makes no difference the type
Before I bought the live-aboard yacht I have owned for the last 2 1/2 years

@@stephensmalldridge9504 Well, there can be a very big difference between sailboats and power boats. With power boats, what you lose in rigging and sails you gain at the power end. One or more large engines that require more maintenance, lots more fuel. Obviously a mono hull sailboat also has a very different hull shape than a power boat. My sailboat is a simple 20 foot mono hull with an equally simple 4 hp outboard for auxiliary power, if needed. I will always favor monohull sailboats over a strictly power boat. And as for a bigger sailboat, I love what Sailing Uma has done with their simplified electric drive. No small/medium sized, smelly, diesel to maintain and "feed". And hey, Jordan and Randy were doing electric too before they stopped (paused) sailing. All in all, I favor sailboat tours and have little to no interest in power boat tours. And "type" of boat CAN make a huge difference. And, . . . to some people it may not.

My current boat was made by a company with Yacht in it's name. I'd call mine a Pocket Yacht. It's a Paceship P2-20 if you're interested. I was lucky to be able to afford it. So, I'm not so far from where Jordan and Randy started out. (I was very happy to meet them at the 2019 US Sailboat Show)
I my case, I don't sail oceans but large lakes - because they are what is closest. The Finger Lakes to be specific. Honestly, a 20 foot sailboat would not do well in huge lake or ocean sailing during other than perfect weather.
I love the power of nature and using it to propel me from here to there. I love the interactive nature of sailing. You can't be lazy and sail a sailboat (except those that have an auto pilot). You can be VERY lazy and point a power boat here or there.
I also have a highly negative view of power boats that rip the mufflers off their engines. They are literal criminals in violation of the law. I'm not saying that you are in that class of power boaters. But sailboats are much more nature friendly. I only wish the wind could power my car. PS - In a year's season of sailing I burn lees than a gallon of fuel. Probably closer to a pint.
