@@NoOne-es4vt personally have to disagree; that is a part of kingdom, to make use of props as well as everything else not to mention the props were hardly the most memorable parts to me as much as the stunts!
Everyone did it great but iKON was my favorite performance too, they were not trying too hard to impress, it was just them enjoying the show!! And also the style very unique.🔥🔥

This intro stage ikon still didn’t aware and used how this show but without any knowledge about how this show work they really burn the stage with their swag and carefree without any prop HHAHA and can’t lip syncing. Honestly, my favorite group here is stray kids and I've already seen so many great performances from them, but this one was really on another level. Left me shocked for days.. praying for them to win the first round.
It felt like there were two performances for iKON because they actually used two songs. They did a remix. And yessss rhythm ta is actually a debut song
They used Hip hop Gentlemen by YG Family. Old school hip hop from 1TYM, Jinusean, Masta Wu, and baby G Dragon. I loved the stage because it was such a nod to long time ikonics and YG stans. We all want YG Family interactions again even if we can’t have all the old members but we can add the new. I also think they may use their hip hop roots in this show because I don’t think the other groups can pull it off as well as iKON can.
Just to let you know that BTOB is really really that big in Korea. They are always on the top 5 groups alongside EXO, BTS, etc there. Young people to Older generation know their songs since most of their songs charted so long and so high there. They have tight core fandom there and general public loves them. That is why knetz really confused why theyre participating in Kingdom since they already very known there due to their great vocals, funny personality, and songwriting skill. I guess that they just want to have fun only 🤣
Changbin said that he was so in sync with the back track that he decided to rap faster so that Stays (and possibly Non Stays) know that they're all singing live 😂

All the groups did SO WELL! But personally, I enjoyed Stray Kids’ the most! Also, Changbin purposely rapped faster than usual because he didn’t want people to think that he lip synced. He even said so in a recent vlive with 3Racha, where he rapped it perfectly in synch in front of the camera.
All of the members of BTOB can rap and sing, they are also trained dancers. Some of them are musical actors, their main rapper is athletic breaking records in sports events, and most of these guys finished their military enlistment so it's interesting to see what performances they'll do as well
btob literally ranked 3rd on global voting, by far had the most views performance on naver tv........ fyi the winner of queendom is a heavy vocal group..... dont have a crazy stage or crazy dance doesnt mean they will ranked last lmao.. they r literally the biggest contenders to win kingdom 😂😂
I'm a multi and I've been into kpop since 2012 so at one time I've become a fan of each of them , my ranking of these performances 6th BTOB (great performance but a bit lacking , I've watched the episode and I think they said that they didn't have the choice to choose the song , and their song was a ballad , that doesn't mean anything, they've could done amazing things if they've put a little more work on it but overall it was great it focused on their vocals) 5th SF9 (the overall performance was great, but they've focused too much on the visuals and they didn't include too much of their song , the dancing was dope tho) 4th ATEEZ (Same but focused too much on the dancing and the song part is so short ,but the charisma and dance moves , the expressions were on point , a TMI I've laughed at the part in the beginning when the leader said with a straight face Hakunamatata ,sorry but it was a lil bit funny to me and cringy😂) 3rd THE BOYZ (It was a bit difficult for me to choose the 2nd and 3rd place , the performance was amazing for me , the ideas of hands , the moves, the sole thing is that I would have choose another song to perform but they didn't have a choice , overall it was really great and I think they even wrote a new rap part just for this performance which is awesome) 2nd IKON (I absolutely loved their performance, the song , the dance moves , the intro , their expressions (Bobby lol) however I found that it was a shame they didn't use props or smth that would elevate their performance more) 1st STRAY KIDS ( I gotta choose stray kids for this round , did you see their performance, it was amazing, Loved every part of it , the costumes , the song and how they remixed it for the concept , the props daggers and lights and changbin's thing, the choreo and how they've filmed in every cranny of the stage and they've even included the place where they were sitting, it was absolutely amazingly well done , I've liked every second of it) Just to say this is my personal ranking of the performances and how I've viewed them, I've seen the preview for the next episode and I see that everyone stepped up their game ,I'm so excited for all the performances, all the teams worked hard for this and they did a really great job! Sorry for the long message😳

But just to get this out , for the same reason you found btob' s performance lacking I found it incredibly good.Sure dance is an incredibly important but stage presence and vocals is what makes it or breaks it..at least for me. But I have to say I am looking forward to a vocal battle for all of the groups to blow me away!!

Btob is actually known for their live performances. But they also have a lot of upbeat songs and can dance too 😁And a fun fact, what you see is 2 rappers and 2 vocals. The rest is still in the military 😉

oh also u mentioned how hard it must've been to choreograph skz's performance and i'm not sure if u've seen the full ep yet or not but han was almost hurt during rehearsals; it was a risky move to perform it in one take like that but they killed it!!

@@FurixKPOP I think they’re participating because Mnet wanted different vibes/colours in this show. They didn’t want it to become just a dance competition. When I first saw the intro stages weeks ago, I only remembered BTOB and iKON clearly. SF9 unfortunately wasn’t memorable enough at the time and the 4th gen groups blended together because their concepts were too similar. I think it was the same for other fans who don’t know specific groups, especially those 4th gen groups. I think the 3rd gen groups try to show their strengths more in the intro video and the 4th gen groups try to show a more aggressive dark concept. Ateez might have been the most in line with their own theme (pirates) from what I have heard and The Boyz have been continuing a concept from Road to Kingdom but if you don’t know those groups then you don’t know where their coming from.

Changbin was actually rapping off beat on purpose he said when rapped on beat it didn't sound live and he wanted stays to know it was live so he rapped faster than the beat also new subscriber here.
Remember, these stages are intro stages. Definitely just the tip of their talents. More to come! For me (this is what I think and thank you for giving us a place to give our reaction without getting any hate) I’ll definitely choose BTOB’s performance, they debuted 9 yrs ago but you can say that their talents are still on point upto this day. No hardcore choreography but you’ll feel that they’re showing you how talented they are and what they are good at then next thing you’ll know you are excited what else they can show. Like, how you want to present yourself to someone, showing them what you do best and they will be interested in you in the end. Plus letting us know that being different isn’t a bad thing. Thank you for joining, BTOB. I hope your dongsaengs will get a lot of things from the group. 👍🏻 2nd, I’ll choose iKon. They are being themselves. Showing their own color and giving us a good and chill vibes. Relax but not lousy. I also love their stage presence, I’m not surprised at all. I can say that they’re not just idols but real artists indeed. Way to go iKon! Let then know who you really are. 3rd, Stray Kids, Ateez and The Boyz honestly, their perfomance give the same energy to me. Choreography, message, concept, facial expressions and very RTK stages which is not a bad thing. I understane that they are just showing what they’ve got and I’m impressed. They are the maknae line but you can see the passion and hardwork. I hope they can maintain that energy and give us different concept so that we can know them more. Can’t wait to witness their journey in Kingdom. 4th SF9. Not that I don’t like their performance. Overall it was a good stage. Showing their own concept and vibes without forcing anything at all. So sad that Rowoon wasn’t able to join the performance but I love how they stick to what they are good at. Mature and clean but you can see how they can be bold in their own way. Definitely not even 5% of their talent was shown but you can see that they still have something to show. I’m so excited how they will unleash their hidden gems to their next stages. Overall, 6 teams are different but all worked hard for their performances. I appreciated their passion and courage to join Kingdom. Competition will be tough but definitely will be a memorable one. I am so excited for the next performances, I think it is really going to show what each group is going to offer! I think stray kids are still the favourites going into episode 2 but I’m really hoping the others turn up the heat, the boys already proved they can do good stages on road to kingdom so I’m excited to see what the rest do

I think the 3rd gen groups try to show their strengths more in the intro video and the 4th gen groups try to show a more aggressive dark concept. Ateez might have been the most in line with their own theme (pirates) from what I have heard and The Boyz have been continuing a concept from Road to Kingdom but if you don’t know those groups then you don’t know where their coming from.

For me (this is what I think and thank you for giving us a place to give our reaction without getting any hate) I’ll definitely choose BTOB’s performance, they debuted 9 yrs ago but you can say that their talents are still on point upto this day. No hardcore choreography but you’ll feel that they’re showing you how talented they are and what they are good at then next thing you’ll know you are excited what else they can show. Like, how you want to present yourself to someone, showing them what you do best and they will be interested in you in the end. Plus letting us know that being different isn’t a bad thing. Thank you for joining, BTOB. I hope your dongsaengs will get a lot of things from the group. 👍🏻
2nd, I’ll choose iKon. They are being themselves. Showing their own color and giving us a good and chill vibes. Relax but not lousy. I also love their stage presence, I’m not surprised at all. I can say that they’re not just idols but real artists indeed. Way to go iKon! Let then know who you really are.
3rd, Stray Kids, Ateez and The Boyz honestly, their perfomance give the same energy to me. Choreography, message, concept, facial expressions and very RTK stages which is not a bad thing. I understane that they are just showing what they’ve got and I’m impressed. They are the maknae line but you can see the passion and hardwork. I hope they can maintain that energy and give us different concept so that we can know them more. Can’t wait to witness their journey in Kingdom.
4th SF9. Not that I don’t like their performance. Overall it was a good stage. Showing their own concept and vibes without forcing anything at all. So sad that Rowoon wasn’t able to join the performance but I love how they stick to what they are good at. Mature and clean but you can see how they can be bold in their own way. Definitely not even 5% of their talent was shown but you can see that they still have something to show. I’m so excited how they will unleash their hidden gems to their next stages.
Overall, 6 teams are different but all worked hard for their performances. I appreciated their passion and courage to join Kingdom. Competition will be tough but definitely will be a memorable one.

I am so excited for the next performances, I think it is really going to show what each group is going to offer! I think stray kids are still the favourites going into episode 2 but I’m really hoping the others turn up the heat, the boys already proved they can do good stages on road to kingdom so I’m excited to see what the rest do
