Kids from la masia leave to other clubs all the time. Once they leave though Laporta doesn't allow them to come back only on rare occasions. Gavi did not leave because he truly has heart for Barca

Koeman preferred to play Alba who was obviously ill over Balde and be Alba picked up a muscle injury. Judging from the way Balde played against Bayern he was obviously ready to step in and with hindsight should have started the match
