    I know its quite late but I would like to know how did he come up with the 'potential 76 Procter and Gambles in Africa"@11:50.. Is he quoting someone or did some analyst put up some numbers for him ? I can't find that any where

      Varun Kishnani he is the CEO if McKinsey they provide corporations world leaders with data, advice and projections. He is called to speak to insights that his audience would not be privy to

    Audience casually guzzling down Coke listening to the MD of McKinsey . Would never happen in India.

      +Georg Maerz yes, we like and respect it. here, people expect audience to be kind of rigid and extremely well behaved. That's usually equated to respect for the speaker. it's kind of liberating to know that drinking coke doesn't equate to lack of interest in the speaker.

      Because indians love to lick executive's ass. They think by sitting in stiff way could make them noticed as respectful participant.

    Great speaker, but - I am sorry, about Brazil (54:30) that is not true.
    I would highly recommend to ask for more information before telling that story.
    It made wonder if I can entirely believe in what happened in Nigeria.

      +Luiz Guilherme C. Kloss Unfortunately Dominic is right !! Regulation in Brazil, especially due to the the burocratic and cleptocratic government that has been leading us since 2003, is massive. The car story may not be the best example, but this type of thing actually happens and it sucks! Cant wait for a liberal government!

      I think we don't realize that the world influencers/players are privy to information long before the public gets wind of it or before it's posted on a website somewhere. Especially when your job is gathering data and providing advice and projections based on those data.

      @@mateusraffaelli4918 You mean to say, liberal economy right? Because liberals have destroyed Brazil's economy with corruption for 16 years.

    • @mateusraffaelli4918
      @mateusraffaelli4918 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Daniel Anastacio yeah, classic liberalism. Value for the individual liberties, both economic and and social. The word has taken a leftist connotation in the US, but historically liberal does not mean leftist.

    15:36 Your investments in Coal production (teck) and global warming ensure there is no snow no water for the major Asian rivers. No snow in the Himalayas, means no more power for Billions. Your profits cannot be drunk nor eaten but useful for the CCP and Bei jing esp when you just ignore human rights in TI bet. So it is non sensical in the end when your economies are unsustainable with no snow in the Himalayas. It condemns future generations to starvation and poverty. this is science not just profits for the next decade for you and your buddies at the CCP.
