In this video one get complete information of homestay in Chikmagalur
In this trip after coming from Udupi, we have stayed in Chikmagalur for 2 nights. We have chosen one of the beautiful place yet completely unexplored village called AVATHI in Chikmagalur. Avathi village is one of the top most altitude area of Chikmagalur and there is very few homestay present which is unknown to all. Actually the finest coffee named Arabica grows here and this place is must visit for all.
We have stayed the most cutest homestay at Avathi village i.e THE SATTVA RETREAT. There is no marketing of this homestay in internet also but trust me this is purely heaven.
There is total 4 rooms, 2 are separate cottage type and another 2 are attached with owner bungalow. Each room 2-3 persons can be accommodated. Rooms details with tariff are mentioned below.
1) Rustic Mountain view cottage. Rs 7500/Night for 2 person
2) Hill View cottage with patio Rs. 7000/Night for 2 person
3) Remaining 2 each rooms Rs 6500/Night for 2 person.
Note: For kids 0-5 years No charge, 6-9 yrs Rs 1500/Night/child and more than 9 yrs Rs 2500 /Night/child.
For extra adults Rs 2500/Night for each room.
Above room rate is include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and tasty Coffee of course.
There is small nicely maintained play ground and few indoor games also available. Bonfire and BBQ also available with prior request.
Regarding foods, only one words that it is Foodie's Heaven. Each and every item is just delicious specially mentioned desert items which is personally made by owner Kavitha Aunty. You will be enjoyed the real Malnad homemade flavour in each food items.

After moving out for a trip, poor network coverage can actully give us the mind of Sukoon wali life. But it's tough to get that life for a long basis unless we do something extraordinary in our life instead of picking the same way what others doing with less risk.

Hi sir , How was the climate? We plan this may .. for kids vocation. Is that good?
At the time of my Visit, it was very soothing. Since Chikamagalur is a Ghat section so there climate is very comfortable in the month of May also. But please prefer Avathi Village homestay since it’s a highest altitude area. And this homestay is just Superb.U will enjoy with ur family definitely.
