It's just amazing Future Breed Machine came out nearly 30 years ago and it would still crush almost everything today. One of the heaviest and most distinctive metal tracks of all time for sure.
This was one of the craziest concerts I've been to. My neck still hurts. I was fighting for my life against buff half naked vikings in the mosh pit. Worth it.
The whole setlist was amazing and didn't play Bleed which is refreshing... The Violent Sleep Of Reason title track should be included regularly as I think it is one of their best songs. Cannot wait for them to play Phantoms and The Armies Of The Preposterous!
The mixing feels like it’s the alive tour all over again. Bass is audible and sounds soooo good EDIT: I have never got 10 likes before. What a pleasant surprise :). (Mind you I didn’t get to see any shows from alive :( )
Yes he is. Mad skills. It’s nice to see that man get his props. The lights for this band might as well be another instrument. They’ve become THAT crucial to the experience.
@@jolemite2639 I used to work in the entertainment field. That man deserves an award. And you are right, it’s like another instrument to the live show. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Haha doet mij denken aan mijn ervaaring. Ik ben 17 en ik was daar met mijn 48 jaarige vader naar toe geweest. Tot nu toe een van de beste bands die ik heb gezien!! 🤘🤘🤘
Demiurge is my first song i play once im warmed up in the gym and its time to impress with some handstand pushups and planche pushups on the parallel bars. I start MEAN MUGGING.
@@quadruplchin if it's the last song they're playing, like it was here, you either might have a good chance OR they're too tired :) certainly if they also play Bleed, like they sadly not played here :(
@@quadruplchin they play to a click track with in ear and it's also synced to the lightshow guy so i doubt they will or even can just change the tempo on the fly
8:30 Before they retire Meshuggah need to release at least one more live album, mainly because Future Breed Machine sounds heavier than the original here. The Ophidian Trek took similar approach but did not have that song.

Very true! Meshuggah came from the future 😅🤣
Toaster from 2049 - Future Bread Machine.
ABSOLUTELY!!!
8:28 has got to be one of the heaviest things ever concieved by mankind

Lol
Had the exact same experience in Vienna, lol
The day you came alive my friend! Welcome to Valhalla :). Meshuggah concert is like experiencing Valhalla for an hour lol.
Hell yeah dude, I know exactly the dudes you mean I got my ass tossed around in there as well it was amazing
Demiurge is so fucking good, I want to liquify it and inject it into my veins.
Heaviest band of all time. Their lighting guy is a damned genius.
Edvard Hanson! Sorry if I misspelled but yes, dude is the shit.
Jesus the scream Jens holds around 4 minutes
6:44 “PROGRAMMED TO LOVE PEA SOUP!!!”
5:36 Jens sounds just like the record version
Crazy!
these two songs together were the heaviest moment in all of my concert experiences
I'm so glad Fredrik is back!! \m/
Sadly I don’t think he is, he’s not touring with them, and he only did some solos on the new album. He doesn’t even have writing credits :(
@@quadruplchin He's literally there dude, why are you commenting if you haven't even seen them recently? Lmfao
@@quadruplchin incorrect. Hes on stage. He cut his long hair off
Oh wow, Jens screaming the outro

did they play clockwork ?
cant wait to see them live
Completely Agree, The Violent Sleep of reason is such an insanely good song
@@billvbill6926 Nope. That is another song I hope they won't forget.
Don't think they will be playing any more off the new album
May be refreshing but I’ve had these tickets for like a years and a half now and bleed was what I was looking forward to the most
Demiurge warms my heart so dearly ❤️

That venue (013) has the best sound of any venue I've ever been to.
Hearing this live was absolutely mindblowing
I WAS THERE !!!!
First time I saw Meshuggah they opened up with this! The light engineer is amazing!!

Demiurge is just so fuckin sweet
Bijna 50 en dan met mijn 16 jarige zoon naar deze legendes....hoe is dat voor muziekale opvoeding?😉🤓🤘
Chapeau!
Nu nog een drumkit of een ander instrument en je hebt gewonnen🤘🤘

They sound immense live, but with enough headroom that if you listen closely you can also hear everyones faces being ripped off..
Great performance! Glad I survived that night.
btw I thought it was just me, but indeed Jens lost in Demiurge lyrics at 1:28
Yeah sounds like he started singing Rational Gaze then stopped
fuck yeah

Cannot WAIT to see them in October! Orlando FL what's up?!?!
Dude… Fred’s solo. Sooo good. Also, this is noticeably slower than usual. But I like it.
To me it seems faster than some other live recordings though. Would be funny to see who of them decides what speed to play at.
@@RubenKemp usually it's the drummer as he does most of the heavy (pardon the pun) lifting in terms of physical effort. coming from a drummer lol
They don’t play FBM @ album tempo. Something I might request them to do via a sign I might hold up when they come to Texas in the fall lol

Way to NAIL this! YEAHSSSSS!! Cheers from Colorado!~
God damn!
Incredible!!
dit was zo vet hahaha
Jens mid 50s still sounds like day 1, how’s that possible 😳
Jens' voice was heavier than on original recordings!
Do you have the full concert?
Did Fredrik play? Or are my ears deceiving me?
jup, he was there definitely. saw it with my own eyes
@@hazardeur I'm so fucking happy he's playing live shows with the band again!!!
I would just like to say if you put Metallica up against meshuggah ,meshuggah will win every time, the heavyness meshuggah has,.it will never be beat.
Not really fair dude. Meshuggah transcends the musical capabilities of 99% of the human population. Legit Aliens amongst men.
Alright
why do you even mentions this. jesus fucking christ. can't believe ppl like this still exist
