Thank you for the explanation! Can you elaborate why you stored the result of the read11 function as an int "chk"? The variable doesn't appear to be used anywhere.
The chk variable is integral to the library somehow, but I'm not sure how it works. I just know that it's required because I have tried storing the sensor reads in different variables and couldn't get it to work.
