  • This horse is very timid and in need of a leader. In this video I am showing you how I am building that relationship with him.

Great segment, Tim! I have one just like this guy, and I’ve been working on getting his trust for over a year. I could do sessions just like this, and make more specific effort to make even more progress than I have. ❤😊

Scott is a good soul. You notice he came close to joining up despite the right side being weak?

Thinking this could also work with the opposite -- a Lead Mare, for instance. The connection is equally important in both cases, just for different reasons. In the case of the Lead Mare, not much is going to go well if she doesn't trust you, LOL.

With you doing the training, when he goes back to the owner, will Scout need to trust the owner too?

Could you do a video about positive reinforcement and why treats may or not be good?

"Abuse"is a common snap diagnosis these days. People need to stop and consider that all animals are born different, including level of confidence.

Have a horse like this, but he's the leader in the pasture and a bit over aggressive with the other horses. It's like he hasn't found the comfortable place in between. Is this possible? Horse that is the leader with horses, but insecure with humans?
