how to calculate Optimum batch size?
Sir total cost consist of ordering cost and carrying cost but we would get discount on only ordering cost because carrying cost is our organisation's inventory cost
So why did you discounted the total cost, discount should only be applied on ordering cost ?
Another point here is that 102 tubes is the EOQ for a week . For the quarter it will be 1224 , discount happens when you order 1500 quarterly.

Why did you apply 5 % discount on total cost, 5% discount is given by raw material supplier and it is applicable only on cost of raw material, why will supplier give discount on our carring and ordering cost ?
