Yeah Arizona has that same law. No one under the driving age can pump it. Quite legitimately it states ( google Arizona pumping gas laws ) and it CLEARLY states: Don't let children under the age of driving license operate the pump.

I’m assuming it’s nobody under driving age, as here in Uk, we do usually have quite fair laws ( majority all with good reason). I don’t think petrol stations here would ever let a child fill a vehicle or motorbike either. I’m going to have to check now, I can’t believe I don’t know 🤦🏻♀️. But tbh, I’ve never thought about it, as I’ve never let my sons do it, just because of safety reasons really, moving cars, the petrol etc.

Easy way to know what side the gas/fuel is on the car look next to the gas/fuel symbol on the dashboard and it’s a small arrow on the side where you fill it up makes life so much easier 😂
Fun fact: need to know which side the gas cap is on? Look where ur fuel level is and u should see an arrow. That points to the side the gas cap is on :)

You're not, it's supposed to be hands free / mounted on the dash or you get fined. A neighbor even told my mom to pull over and turn off the engine / park her car on the side of the road to use her phone.
We were in Phoenix in August and got stuck in a horrible detour when the freeway was closed! So many people from out of state were so lost. The cops there tried hard to get us back on to the route. It killed an hour for us. Put us an hour behind schedule fro our ride home.
