Like the showgrounds were meant to cater for 10K or so, 30K rocked up and stood outside the grounds, the atmosphere was insane. Keep in mind this is a garbage regional town in NSW

I dropped everything (including money and my job and my place to live), packed a little bag, bought a bus ticket out of South carolina and hitch- hiked from there to San diego, California where I also hiked 400 miles of the pacific crest trail 👣, lived in an abandoned blue 1991 van on a hippie couples property in the San Diego desert Mountains, did a bunch of acid, met amazing people, smoked Hella weed, and when it was time to say goodbye I came back home with all the memories, the moments, the epiphanies, the emotions, the good, and the bad and I found myself- who I was. I left my ego behind when I traveled to California and I became an individual. I became somebody who mattered. Now I'm a mom with a beautiful Nigerian husband, and a beautiful mixed son and I have stories to tell and to inspire my son to live free of society pressure, to live deeper than the surface, and to live larger than the "American Dream". Everytime I hear this song- I go to that place in my mind where I was walking- blisters on my feet, back hurting, dreadfully hot and dry weather- with my head phones in listening to this song and looking out at the blue skies, the desert mountains, and the seas of clouds I woke up to 15,000 ft up above tree line on my way to liberation and true happiness. I hope this inspires you too ❤
