Out of all the Sonic.EXE games out there. This one has got to be the most disturbing and creepiest one of them all. But that's also what makes it so interesting.
For any players unaware, trypophobia is a reaction of fear or disgust to closely-packed holes. This game has a lot of graphics with closely-packed holes, which is why the warning is in place at the start of the video.
Something interesting, when you reach the hole that Tails falls into after he sees the massacre, instead of falling in, instead fly up above the opening, you will see Sonic impaled on a spike up there.
Damn this game looks promising. It just needs a good soundtrack. I'd be happy to contact the devs and see what i can do with the YM2612 FM synth inside of the genesis
The fact that this stage (2:01) has trypophobia really makes me even more scared of Sonic.EXE than I already was when I was like, 10 or 11 The creator really filled the game with nightmare fuel, that took lots of effort! And for that, I'm proud 😌

In the second iteration of that final conversation, the second one shown with voice acting, I could make out the very last word, "unsupervised". This means that SOMETHING must be overseeing this all, and even letting it all happen.
Just made out more words, something about "skin", "find it", and something about, "leaving it unsupervised." I know that that last word was the first word that I made out, but still.

Almost all variants of sonic.exe have cool designs but they aren't scary just badass bloody designs, but this one... DAMN, this one really intimidated me and i haven't feel that for a videogame for a long time, i can imagine you constantly scared and with full adrenaline playing this game because that THING followed you very desesperately, this is kinda shocking and i doubt that i will play it myself and that makes it a good spooky game.
i would suppose that the corrupted bird tree is probably the cause of the background changing and sending tails into that weird trypophobic land. And look at sonic transform as soon as the tree is visable. 1:33
Well.......I gotta have to get my eyes check. This is an amazing update of the game. Though i think that at 7:09 They seems to be talking about something. And I think it changes when you play hard mode. Anyway good job passing the hardest game Sunny!

Dude the sound effects of this game are absolutely amazing And the demo is over sounds is the literal same from a Oolacile or nuu$hi song (can't really remember which song sorry, but you'll find it in the Halcyon yt channel)
My personal answer to the second question would be dependent on the difficulty. Easy players wouldn't be able to save Tails, and only masters of the game can do it on harder difficulties.
@@ArcBeetle0 I only speculated it, due to the life counter in the different endings. In the footage for the Cheater Ending, SunFIRE had the maximum of 99 lives, while for the Good Ending, he only had one life to play with.

I really love the addition of Zylenox's take on Peaceful. It really adds to the the whole theme of this version of Sonic.exe

Levels look great too! It's decently a bizarre, but interesting. It make him look more cosmic horror than anything. I love this look ngl.
