I got one of these in the mail like 4 days ago, and I've been playing it a ton. Works well enough especially for the price. Happy with the games it came with. I do need to upgrade the card on it.
I got mine a couple of weeks ago. The stock experience isn't great, but it's the best you're going to get at the moment. Hopefully, they'll have custom firmware soon with better performance and experience. This version has a better CPU, a GPU (lacking in the original), bluetooth, and wifi. Once the RG35XX Plus gets a stable custom firmware, it's going to beat the MM+ in most categories.
Anbernic has an RG35XXH coming out

I ordered the RG35xx Plus, its the perfect little Retro Handheld, the Bonus for me was I can hook it up to the TV (HDMI) and use my 2 8Bitdo Sn30 controllers via Bluetooth and my Wife and I can play old school games together. I cant wait for the OS updates coming from either Gamma or Onion. think i paid $60 on the Official TikTok store on the 20th at 11am, Delivered on the 22 @2pm In California..Beyond happy with this Ambernic RG35xx Plus and its very Pocketable love it..
I would pay extra for the vin diesel and ice cube variants.

I just got a 35xx+ and am enjoying it so much! My last handheld was a GBA, and an original GB before that - I’m loving this thing so much lol
The other side of the camera is probably a mountain of cheap plastic products ready to avalanche at any moment.
While I appreciate your vids and insight, I would like to confirm that while my moms vibe did start the ps1 emulation, it in fact took a D battery, not a 9v. 😂😂😂

I.used to buy loads of retro handhelds, but it's hard to keep up.
I sold them all (except for my Analogue Pocket) , bought a Steam Deck Oled and despite they do look and play nice, I was kinda fed up with these devices launching every month.
Anbernic develops 10 times more new handhelds than Analogue does on new firmware updates for their pocket 🤣🤣

How do you use the second sd card slot?
I highly suggest upgrading to the new firmware. I own two of these and the new upgraded firmware enforces that slot one is operating system only and slot 2 is for roms. It's way more stable than the old firmware, and it's easy to use.
The second slot, I believe, is for the roms.

I've bought one of these off ur links and can anyone help? I charged it and the red light is on but it never turns on. Other than the initial 1st 6 days I have never been able to play it again

It does the usual 1980-2000 I have both the RG35XX Plus and the XU10 honestly the XU10 handheld has more emulators and games for the same price $60-80 it just it doesn’t have wifi Bluetooth and hdmi it’s more offline handheld
It runs Killer Instinct arcade poorly :(

This device does not have mario roms on it
Taki Udon mentioned in one of his reviews that a lot of companies recently like ANBERNIC, will not include Mario Roms for fear of Nintendo going after them. Companies that include Mario Roms in their devices do so at their own risk. If I remember correctly it was in his XU10 review.

How come when I insert another SD card that's preloaded with the same games and even more, the card is not being recognized. I've pretty much been using the stock SD card that came with it. Does anyone else have that problem?
I had to put a fresh fat32 formatted card into it. It will create the correct folders, then you put your roms into the folders
@poolboy22v I used a Samsung 128gb card that was already formatted with the correct folders, and the card is still not reading. My RG353V can load up the roms no problem, but for some reason, the RG35XX can not read the card. Another weird thing is that when I pop their SD card into my computer, all of the folders are empty.

I do not like this one. Had I twice already os is bad. It kept crashing on me. Could not update it tried several times. Had to rename files to extract the update. Then failed to write update every time. I sent it back twice. I got the first one underwhelmed. Then they said update fixed it nope sent that one back to. I like my miyoo plus and my arcd and ayn odin pro. Stick to regular rg35xx or the miyoo if you want cheap

It's usually along the first boot. Framerate didn't seem that bad. That audio is too choppy, though.
