tree exists and it depends on sun and water and other things for its existence. sun depends on hydrogen and other things for its existence. so everything in our universe depends on something else for its existence. we can say if everything is dependent then they cannot exist as a group /collection of dependent things cannot self sustain itself so there must be an independent entity responsible for the existence of all dependent things.

Proposition: There cannot be a world with only dependent thing(s) without reference to an independent thing, as dependent thing(s) cannot continue existing on their own.

Allah has no idea what the right path is because he is not the God that appeared to Abraham and Moses and these verses below proves it:
Verses of Divorce in the Quran against that of the Bible.
The Quran:
🚩⦁ [Surah 2:230]; So IF A HUSBAND DIVORCES HIS WIFE (IRREVOCABLY), HE CANNOT, AFTER THAT, RE-MARRY HER UNTIL AFTER SHE HAS MARRIED ANOTHER HUSBAND AND HE HAS DIVORCED HER...
From the hadith's it is also clear that THE DIVORCED WOMAN HAS TO FIRST "CONSUMMATE" HER SECOND MARRIGES BEFORE THAT SECOND HUSBAND CAN DIVORCE HER, only then can she return to the first husband (if this is her intention). What evilness taught by Allah expecting woman do this if she realises she wants to go back to her first husband( i.e. changed her mind), but rather she is forced to sleep with another man first (would the true God of Abraham & Moses really demand something as disgusting as this? - let's see what the Biblical God says on this matter).
The Bible:
🚩⦁ [Deuteronomy 24:1-4]; ...and if she goes and BECOMES ANOTHER MAN’S WIFE, and the latter man hates her and writes her a certificate of divorce and puts it in her hand and sends her out of his house, or if the latter man dies, who took her to be his wife, THEN HER FORMER HUSBAND, WHO SENT HER AWAY, MAY NOT TAKE HER AGAIN TO BE HIS WIFE, AFTER SHE HAS BEEN "DEFILED". For that IS AN ABOMINATION before the LORD."
So, while Biblical God "hates divorce - as shown is Malachi 2:13-16", he does allowed it from Scripture, but unlike Allah's demands to first marry another, the Abrahamic God forbids a man "remarrying" his EX after she remarries...Clearly Allah contradicts the Abrahamic God who says this is an ABOMINATION in his sight.
You will possibly not answer this comment because you can't answer these facts. 🔷But those following Allah's corrupted laws will have to face and answer to the true God on judgement day (the God of Abraham & Moses, the only true God who is not the Allah of the Quran as your prophet claimed, these verse above proves they are not the same God - and there are many such contradictions).

It's apparent how badly you want your mum to find the true path as well. The sadness on your face says it all when she is talking about one going there and not liking it. But she has got a gem and a guide like you, she will in sha Allah be there with you and your beautiful family in Jannah. Amen.
Salam I had the same thinking about watching the video until end and it does show her sadness on her face especially the last bit is because she loves her mum and she want her to find and follow the true path. honestly i have a feeling her mother does agree with a lot of the things in Islam. She makes sense of it. But she makes those excuses of “what if i don’t like it” just so she has another question that makes her not want to be Muslim. It’s like that with a lot of people actually because they think they’re giving up their happiness of life since Islam has a dress code, you have to act as a certain way but to these non believers life is everything for them because they just don’t know what’s after death. that’s why muslims say deen over dunya.

A Facebook friend pointed me to your video. I really like the questions that your Mom asks. Her "hope" that death is like switching the lights off is exactly what the bible teaches.
Ecclesiastes 9:5 says: "For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing at all, nor do they have any more reward, because all memory of them is forgotten."
As soon as you feel anything again you are not dead any more. In that case you are resurrected already. And when you prove to be of the believers you ghave the chance to live eternally. And in case of the bible the vast majority of humans will live eternally on earth; a new earth where it will be like in garden eden.
Your mum had some really good, relatable questions, which I think a lot people have. Maybe descriptions of how Jannah is might help clear things up, like how everyone will innately know their home place in Jannah and have their own home, descriptions of how spacious it is for each person, promises that we will never get bored there's always something new for us just how we like it, etc.
I agree with you. I can understand her being confused tho, and saying that she is frightened to die cause she likes her life now and thinking she might not like the afterlife. I think it's nice that she is beginning to question her confusion. But like that's the point isn't it. As we muslims know, as humans we don't know what the future holds (not even the next few seconds) as we are imperfect, but Allah is the most perfect and Allah is all knowing. It might seem like we know how we are, what we want etc., but truthfully at the same time we also don't know much about ourselves, do we. But Allah does know us perfectly. That's why Allah also knows, that 100000% we humans will like heaven, as it is mentioned that heaven and afterlife is much much much better than the current temporary life we're in right now.

Please take her to Hyde Park on Sunday and let her talk to people who knows better than us (like Abbas of EF Dawah) in how to reason with atheists with logic, reason and proof. It would be really helpful, trust me. And the ending was fine. Don't worry. We have seen our mum and grandmothers discuss on many issues from childhood. This is familiar and you also got a baby to take care.

The belief in Isa is not a requirement in declaring Shahada.

Guidance is only by the favor of Allah . He swt guides whom He wills and misleads whom He wills . So the guidance is a grace in itself from Allah. May Allah guide us all to His straight path .Amin .
Prophet Mohammed pbuh said that the pagan (Abo Gahl , Amr Ben Hesham) is Pharaoh of this Nation (the nation of Islam) , and he was killed as a disbeliever in the battle of Badr . And in spite of that, his son ,(Akrema) has accepted Islam and became one of the greatest companions of the prophet, and of the greatest scholars of Islam. Subhan Allah.

Her mother is very very tolerant to daughter muslim revert . If it were muslim parents ,they would have killed sons or daughters for reverting to christian or jews or hindus etc . Muslim reverted does not really know about true face of islam amd islamists

as an example, I think in this video he said that in Islam, Jesus was to spread his message to the whole world, but in reality we believe he as a messenger for the Israelites, not for the whole world like Prophet Muhammad PBUH
This is quite minor in comparison to some other mistakes he has made imo
