Hey everyone, if you enjoyed this video I went back and filmed more details. I filmed all of the animated elevator sequences featuring older shows, ie Johnny Bravo. I also filmed all of the kitchen animation featuring some older shows. Its on my channel titled CN Hotel Steven Universe and Adventure Time breakfast. Check it out to see more of the CN Hotel. Also, to answer everyones questions, the hotel is located in Lancaster PA, USA. At the time of filming this video it was very cold January and the outdoor pool was not open or completed. Thank you to everyone for watching. We hope to go back and film more content when things get better from corona virus.
it is just ironic, that there isn't that many places that tawog and regular show are viewed even though they are one of some shows that were a lifeline to cartoon network.
Well, this hotel looks rather underwhelming. They feature only six of their shows? It'd be nice if they showed a bit more of the network's back catalogue. The animated elevator sequence is pretty cool, but it seems that's the only unique thing about this hotel that really stands out. Otherwise, it looks like a fairly generic hotel littered with CN merchandise.
Its cool and all but that has got to be the saddest looking pool. It just kind of pales in comparison with all the other stuff. It's just a slide. I know its winter there, but whoever they brought in to design it has a lot more work to do
I hope for shows like Johnny Bravo, Ed, Edd n Eddy, Cow & Chicken, Dexter’s Laboratory, Chowder, Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi, Courage The Cowardly Dog, etc. have some kind of an appearance. But sadly kids today wouldn’t recognize most of those shows. With Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi though, it’s like they watch Teen Titans Go but not know who sings the opening song. But being a huge Cartoon Network and Toonami fan when I was a kid, I would have to put visiting a Cartoon Network hotel into my Bucket List of things I need to do.
I’m kinda sad they didn’t have Infinity Train or Ninjago and Ninjago is CN’s longest running series so far with 9 years worth of 11 seasons, a special, and shorts
lets be honest: it will. all the shows represented are their currents, especially with those statues over the years those shows will lose relevancy (example, Powerpuff girls 2016, its dead by todays standards and well hated, yet its prominently featured design wise over the 'classic' versions of the girls) Nick Hotel had a major issue over time, the cost to renovate each room to keep up with modern nick trends and shows, hindered the hotel. also the fact they lost all impact where they were when Nick Studios left universal. I have no idea why CN thought this hotel was smart, especially given the location, they seem to be all in on this current identity but they have no love for their past, minus Adventure time. Wheres Courage? Johnny Bravo? Ed, Edd and Eddy? Heck even more 'modern' shows are missing, Regular Show? That tells us, over time, they are going to have to renovate the rooms. the only advantage, is they have digital displays where they can just pop new animations in and out. the issue is going to be the rooms, and the statue displays. that said, its gonna be a few years, this wont be instant, but I'd say after 10? its going to go down depends on how committed CN really is and how popular this is
I’m definitely going here some day but I wish this was in a better location and had more old shows. I wish each room was a show theme and not just the new ones. Don’t get me wrong I love CN with all my heart and I grew up with it. But I feel like it will turn out like Nick Hotel. I hope not but unfortunately it will..
SebTH1 I dunno. It looks like there is a lot of blank canvas here. I think that might have been intentional, for adding shows in over time without having to completely overhaul.
I had fun there. I got back from there yesterday, and I had it all to myself. The rooms are fit for friends, and I tried some really gud food. And here's the best part: I'm an Steven Universe fan, and when I was eating in the restaurant, my family ordered SU themed food for me, and the waitress noticed I was an SU fan too, so she gave me a free drink themed to Rainbow Quartz 2.0. (the fusion between Pearl and Steven)! It was one of the most delish drinks I had. I see that a lot of the people in the section here are complaining about how there aren't any of the old shows and such, but like I say: Don't always focus on the bad parts, look on the bright side, like me! But let's be real, the hotel did feel lacking without Dutch Wonderland and the indoor pool open for me.
Honestly the comments are getting me down about the place but this helped me realize it doesn't have to be bad. Also it's really cool the staff noticed you liked SU and gave you a really cool drink to go with it!
Like most said, where's the classics? Ed, Edd and Eddy? Johnny Bravo? Cow and Chicken? Billy and Mandy? Not only that, but Regular Show and Mao Mao are hardly(if even, I saw Mao Mao was on the door at 0:38("One step closer to legend, baby!")) represented! Same with Apple and Onion, Summer Camp Island and Victor and Valentino!
To be fair, kids today probably don’t know about Johnny Bravo or Dexter so that’s probably why they’re not there, but a lack of some more recent shows like Regular show is questionable ngl

I really have only watched Steven Universe but I gotta say this place looks really cool. I love the elevator most of all I still am disappointed that many classic cartoons and current cartoons are left ignored but it still looks cool plus we haven't seen everything. Nothing some new wallpapers, items in gift shop, statue or even a wall of fame can't change The pool is a little bad but... Come on its a hotel pool... I seen puddles larger than pools at official hotels. What was really expected? All in all a definite interesting place to check out if you enjoy cartoons network although A hard pass on anyone that abhores teen titans go

I imagine that the entire hotel is like Great Wolf Lodge, but with the modern Cartoon Network vibe, feel & awesome variety of what it offers, i really wish i could go there...
Kids won't know old shows on CN. This hotel is aimed at kids, so they will put the shows that the kids from now grew up on. I wasn't born back then, I was born in 2005. The only real shows I recognize is Gumball, we bare bears, Ben 10, Steven universe, and the Powerpuff girls. Other shows like Victor and Valentino and Mao Mao I don't recognize. (Also I saw adventure time how could I forget adventure time?)

It's a shame ...it looks like the owners or creators have never been to Disney. There is another video where it looks like a mother her mother and her two children went. The little girl of 3-4 goes in first. The doors open and she is standing there......now this place has not been open a week and there are no greeters at the door. Not one person made a move to say hello or to see if they needed anything. I wouldn't waste a dime on a place that makes cartoons and unfriendly place to visit.

i dont get why people are so upset over there not being any old school CN shows since the target demographic is families with younger children who would most likely only know the newer shows. The hotel is built next to Dutch Wonderland so the age they're aiming for is pretty clear lol but the pool looks so sad in winter, im sure things would look better during the summer with more tourists coming to the area. EDIT: i forgot to mention i like the art design of the bearista it's cute lol, every thing in the hotel as a very soft vibe
I think we're missing the classic stuff, including, but not limited to Ed, Edd, & Eddy, Cow & Chicken, I Am Weasel, Johnny Bravo, Dexter's Laboratory, The Grim Adventures Of Billy and Mandy, Codename: Kids Next Door, Evil Con Carne, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Camp Lazlo, The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, Chowder, Class Of 3000, My Gym Partner's a Monkey, Regular Show, Etc.
I Remember seeing something similar to this a long time ago but with a M&S Promotion with Cartoon Network featuring Characters from older CN shows like Fosters home and so on
CN obviously didn’t realize that you can capitalize over nostalgia and people will go absolutely NUTS. I mean they could’ve made blocks of rooms themed off of shows from certain time periods, ie: 90’s, 00’s, and 10’s
So I work for the company that did a lot of the signage, and the outdoor pool out back is still getting a large sign that is all adventure time cast and says “land of poool”, and it’s a really neat sign, but I agree that this is more of a “come and see it if you’re around” rather than a destination. You don’t have to stay there either to eat in the kitchen or go to the arcade or gift shop, but with the current shutdown (Lancaster recently started to open up again) I can only imagine the lack of income they’ve had. And when it closes down (I don’t doubt that it will happen) a lot of the things are probably going to get demolished (I’m thinking signs but still) due to how specific they are to the hotel. Finn and Jake might make it out, as well as a few of the other characters and graphics, but I don’t see a lot of it surviving.
This is pretty cool. I’m sure it wasn’t CN’s intention to make this a grand attraction on its own, but rather a small, fun bonus to one’s trip in the Lancaster area. It’s small, sure, but also more affordable for the many families and possibly more Millennials booking rooms. The unique merch, themed rooms, audiovisual lobby decor, they’re all wonderful. I think it‘d be wise for CN to consider future renovations with their back catalogue, which I’m sure they’ve already considered, but given this place just opened I can see why they’d want to start simple and not jump blindly into a venture as risky as a hotel. If they do expand though, additions I’d love to see are Boomerang and 18+ Adult Swim rooms. That would be amazing.

lol I already know everything in that gift shop costs over $40. I'm surprised the drinks in the cafe is under $10. Also that is the saddest looking pool ever, they should add more character and color to it
This new hotel is decorated with the characters from the cartoon network tv shows! It reminds me that my favorite cartoon network shows The Powerpuff Girls and Steven Universe 🤩 The Powerpuff Girls are superheroes and The Crystal Gems are aliens 👽 who chose to live on earth 🌎 and protect the human rase 👩👩👧 another one of my favorite cartoon network shows is Unikitty because she's a princess👸who lives in a beautiful castle 🏰 she turns blue whenever she's crying 😫 or whenever she gets angry and turns red 😡 but these shows are awesome and they're the best 👍 and I love them so much!!! 💗
Okay,this hotel is AWESOME. But if they ever make a hotel like this in Turkey, and you live in Turkey since birth, you will probably be surprised. 'Cause CN TR NEVER showed us the legends. THEY. ACTUALLY. MADE. A.3.HOUR.COMPILATION.OF.NICK CARTOONS. And they made MaoMao come too late. (It was actually released at December,but in Turkey, they released it at January.) And just showed us only 5-6 episodes then turned to a 'kid who can turn into a toy' n' stuff. I don't even remember old my favorite cartoons. Like Unikitty, Regular Show, Adventure Time... Soo, *enjoy your Cartoon Network.*
Guys Gumball gets a couple of rooms. At least Teen Titans Go didnt get that much attention. I'm honestly really surprised considering Cartoon Network loves to air it non stop

I really have only watched Steven Universe but I gotta say this place looks really cool. I love the elevator most of all
I still am disappointed that many classic cartoons and current cartoons are left ignored but it still looks cool plus we haven't seen everything. Nothing some new wallpapers, items in gift shop, statue or even a wall of fame can't change
The pool is a little bad but... Come on its a hotel pool... I seen puddles larger than pools at official hotels. What was really expected?
All in all a definite interesting place to check out if you enjoy cartoons network although A hard pass on anyone that abhores teen titans go

Kids won't know old shows on CN. This hotel is aimed at kids, so they will put the shows that the kids from now grew up on. I wasn't born back then, I was born in 2005. The only real shows I recognize is Gumball, we bare bears, Ben 10, Steven universe, and the Powerpuff girls. Other shows like Victor and Valentino and Mao Mao I don't recognize. (Also I saw adventure time how could I forget adventure time?)

It's a shame ...it looks like the owners or creators have never been to Disney. There is another video where it looks like a mother her mother and her two children went. The little girl of 3-4 goes in first. The doors open and she is standing there......now this place has not been open a week and there are no greeters at the door. Not one person made a move to say hello or to see if they needed anything. I wouldn't waste a dime on a place that makes cartoons and unfriendly place to visit.
@@guitarbob63 cause it was open in January and they greet you when it's spring break or summer time!!! (not referencing regular show episode this is my jam.) but they didn't greet people cause there's wasn't enough employees only in the summertime.
It might not be Disneyland (or Disney world) but it does a pretty good job catching the essence of Cartoon Network

i dont get why people are so upset over there not being any old school CN shows since the target demographic is families with younger children who would most likely only know the newer shows. The hotel is built next to Dutch Wonderland so the age they're aiming for is pretty clear lol
but the pool looks so sad in winter, im sure things would look better during the summer with more tourists coming to the area.
EDIT: i forgot to mention i like the art design of the bearista it's cute lol, every thing in the hotel as a very soft vibe

This is such an obscure place to put the first Cartoon Network hotel

CN obviously didn’t realize that you can capitalize over nostalgia and people will go absolutely NUTS. I mean they could’ve made blocks of rooms themed off of shows from certain time periods, ie: 90’s, 00’s, and 10’s
and when you go in to the hotel room:

So I work for the company that did a lot of the signage, and the outdoor pool out back is still getting a large sign that is all adventure time cast and says “land of poool”, and it’s a really neat sign, but I agree that this is more of a “come and see it if you’re around” rather than a destination. You don’t have to stay there either to eat in the kitchen or go to the arcade or gift shop, but with the current shutdown (Lancaster recently started to open up again) I can only imagine the lack of income they’ve had. And when it closes down (I don’t doubt that it will happen) a lot of the things are probably going to get demolished (I’m thinking signs but still) due to how specific they are to the hotel. Finn and Jake might make it out, as well as a few of the other characters and graphics, but I don’t see a lot of it surviving.

This is pretty cool. I’m sure it wasn’t CN’s intention to make this a grand attraction on its own, but rather a small, fun bonus to one’s trip in the Lancaster area. It’s small, sure, but also more affordable for the many families and possibly more Millennials booking rooms. The unique merch, themed rooms, audiovisual lobby decor, they’re all wonderful. I think it‘d be wise for CN to consider future renovations with their back catalogue, which I’m sure they’ve already considered, but given this place just opened I can see why they’d want to start simple and not jump blindly into a venture as risky as a hotel.
If they do expand though, additions I’d love to see are Boomerang and 18+ Adult Swim rooms. That would be amazing.

It reminds me that my favorite cartoon network shows The Powerpuff Girls and Steven Universe 🤩 The Powerpuff Girls are superheroes and The Crystal Gems are aliens 👽 who chose to live on earth 🌎 and protect the human rase 👩👩👧 another one of my favorite cartoon network shows is Unikitty because she's a princess👸who lives in a beautiful castle 🏰 she turns blue whenever she's crying 😫 or whenever she gets angry and turns red 😡 but these shows are awesome and they're the best 👍 and I love them so much!!! 💗

Okay,this hotel is AWESOME. But if they ever make a hotel like this in Turkey, and you live in Turkey since birth, you will probably be surprised. 'Cause CN TR NEVER showed us the legends. THEY. ACTUALLY. MADE. A.3.HOUR.COMPILATION.OF.NICK CARTOONS. And they made MaoMao come too late. (It was actually released at December,but in Turkey, they released it at January.) And just showed us only 5-6 episodes then turned to a 'kid who can turn into a toy' n' stuff. I don't even remember old my favorite cartoons. Like Unikitty, Regular Show, Adventure Time... Soo,
