Cost for producing video…28 dollars….but still one of the best made..
lol we wont mention the cost of what they indulged with the night before
my 1982 classic song
The same price as 2 cartons of throwdowns in 1982👍
Like Rod Stewart's US$200,000 budget, blown on coke...had to be made in garages/street scenes...#1 hit all the same 'If ya think I'm sexy'
👏☘️
should've seen what you could get with $28 back then. couple of pots, a slab and pack of ciggies and still have heaps for lunch the next day
I am 50 year old black American man I am listening! This band kicks some serious Classic Rock ass!
Go watch the documentary about Albert studios
I agree with that.
Welcome, to good old Aussie music.
Blood & thunder is an amazing doco about the music I grew up listening to... I'm 58yrs old
The Angels

I'm a American and a gen s 34 years old who's loves classic rock n roll
Same here bro😊
I love this song ! Greetings from Germany 😢
When I was 14 living in Campsie, NSW. We had this long haired Greek kid skater, panel van driving dude, who lived across the road and he who would clean his panel van on the weekend and he would always have kiss, destroyer and rose tattoo, rockn roll outlaw blearing out his speakers. And as it happened they were the first 2 records he taped for me and started my life into heavy rock music. He was also influential in me riding skateboards and roller skates. I’ve gone back to my old neighbourhood but they moved out of the area in the early 90s. If Nick tarramis is out there , thanks for the inspirations that make me happy. Man
That is fantastic. !
Grew up in Lakemba NSW in the 70s/80s The Aussie rock message lives!
I’m not an Aussie i am a 59 year‘s old fart 😆from Germany and i am listining to Rose Tattoo since i was 16!
RESPECT. HAIL FROM OZ
If this song doesnt motivate you to get our country back to what it was nothing will !
In 1982 interest rates reached a peak of 16 %. Unemployment was 10 %. We were in recession. Want to go back to that?
@@gattingbowledwarne You totally missed the point.
@@slayerdeth0705what was the point?
@@slayerdeth0705 I know what his “point” was… I just avoided it. To me it was dog whistling bull sh it that I won’t buy into.
@@gattingbowledwarne what was the point?
Im from london and i saw them a lot in london . In 82 i was in Sydney and saw them at the tivoli club on George Street fantastic live band back in the day
yeah first time i seen them live was in 1985 here in PERTH , great aussie music
Late 2024 Hands up - this has to be Australia’s National Anthem. Piss off the current crap. All here - Passion Power Energy & HEART!
Was a 13 year old American boy living in Mosman. Loved this then and now.
What school did you go to?
@@garthjankovic1 Mosman High School.
@@newtonmichael awesome. I went to Crows Nest! The good ol days!!!!
More great memories and good times, it’s now 2023 and I’m wondering what happened to our strong country and people!
I ask myself that exact same thing.
Lucky we have TH-cam to easily go back and glimpse at the unbeatable way of life. The Australia that once was awesome and "couldn't be beaten ". 🤘👍
It’s still strong. You white anters chip away don’t you. And when the tatts were at their peak things weren’t all that peachy. If you were in Brisbane at that time you were a fair chance of getting a beating from the boys in blue if you went to local concert. In the70s you couldn’t protest or you’d get a good beating.
@@markziogas7060 in 82 interest rates were 17%, unemployment was 10% aggregate, youth employment much higher, and inflation 10%. We were on the edge of a recession. If you lived in Queensland you couldn’t go to a concert without a good chance of getting beaten up by the law. You couldn’t protest. Votes in the country were worth more than those in the city. If you were aboriginal you were hassled by the law. Poofta bashing was a sport. We were insular and close minded. People have short memories.
Immigration, that is what has happened to this once great country, letting in the scum of the earth with their ideology
@@gattingbowledwarne ah the good old days, funny how interest rates are 4-5% and everyone is crying how high it is, and no rainbow they/thems wanting tolerance, this from the least tolerant section in society. Go cry somewhere else
In Japan but still listen to these guys. Bogans rule. From Vic Altona. Altona North Tech
Wonderful memories, Aussieland was such a good place to live back then with bands like this around. Just look it at now! So sad, crowded and apathetic.
So why don't you fight against it ? Don't be a wuss.
In 82 inflation was 11%, interest rates 16 % and unemployment 10 %. A full on recession. The good old days. My dad worked two jobs, mum one… always on the verge of losing the house. Good times!
Try 13.5 % for households and 22% on business loans that was the Fraser/Howard legacy
@@gattingbowledwarneAt least you had a house. I'll probably never be able to afford one.
80s teens were truly blessed!
No I was not
@@DerhamPaul-vo8frmaybe privileged enough then
In Australia, the year this song was released, unemployment was 10%. That’s aggregate. Youth unemployment was probably higher. Interest rates were 16%. Inflation was 11 %. Ahhh the good old days!
We've got to get this spirit back, to get our country back.
JET COVER OF WE CANT BE BEATEN BY ROSE TATTOO ROCKS :)
@@sonicjet7759
What happened to Jet?
Are they still together?
They dropped on America like a thermonuclear bomb and just kind of disappeared afterwards.
I was so fired up that someone was finally putting out good straight up Rock again and then nothing, bummer.
Can't it's over to many immigrants and libtards
@@dukecraig2402I'm sorry. Please don't be angry with me. But Jet was super weak. That's why they fizzled immediately.
Where did it go? Last time I looked it was still there.
Yeah, the Australian Army love this tune.
great song from 1982 aussie aussie aussie

Great song! Sydney in 1982 was a great place! Great local music! Excellent local bands, like Rose Tattoo! Thanks, Angry!
Rose Tattoo is a Melbourne band.
@@ShiningLight. thanks for correcting me.
I guess I got a bit confused, as Angry Anderson was born in Melbourne, so that is why I thought Rose Tattoo was a Melbourne band.
@@lifewithalistair. they are
@@ShiningLight. I love how Aussie's can just work things out, organically. Wish I could buy you both a beer. I only came here to say 2023 ANTHEM if you think like an indi-bloody-vidual !!
@@AdamSandaver Pete Wells was in Sydney band Buffalo. He formed Rose Tattoo and they recorded at Albert studios in Sydney
Used to crank this in Geelong on Fridays outside the ford factory, those were the days, memories
I truly love this band and the music they make...They to me give ACDC a run for the money........Definitely should be bigger.......
Angus was the pre-eminent guitarist, and thus Rose Tat were eclipsed
@@LordEriolTolkienYou mean Angus Young I take it. It was like that with The Angels too I reckon.
@@andrewking4885 Give his brother Malcolm some credit too... I got the Angels played on the radio here in Scotland a few weeks ago in a request slot. An old song but a band no one's heard of here.
Aussie outlaw rock n roll..... bloody beautiful mate
I once served Angry in a 9/11 bottle shop. Never let on that I was a fan. One of life's magic moments. Awesome slide guitar too
Eclectic Avenue I first saw Pete Wells playing bass guitar for Sydney band Buffalo. Had a few of their albums too.
This came out when i was in long bay. It became our anthem, so to speak. 😉
Used to stir up the screws when this came on at night, and everyone started bangin up in tune with it. LOL 🤣
Nothing like a good kick up.... love it...

This band usually tours Australia with another Australian band called The Poor, they have an album called Who Cares, worth listening to, great, great great album and their awsume live. ❤
Heard the cover by Swiss thrashers Drifter which was incredible but I then went searching for the original ultimately making it here.
Classic Australian Hard Rock Anthem \M/
This is just simply a great ballsy rock track or what👌👌👌👌💪💪💪💪💪 Arguably the best thing the Tatts did. Oh freaking yeah!!!!!
Branded, the butcher and fast Eddie, juice on the loose, snow queen and so many more by the tatts. Brilliant

Aussies can't even fart in public anymore without being handcuffed, sad state of affairs .
Man this was very popular hype up song when you'd be running out onto the ground playing footy
Raw, pure, unfiltered = AWESOME !!!!!

I had an idea BACK in 1985 to hold a concert involving bands from Australia and have as an opening act Slade, then Rose Tattoo and headlining
AC/DC. I was going to call it AUSS Fest.

@@markmcallan973 - Sure will! And likewise! 😊👍 By the way, I've known other Rose Tattoo songs for decades! 😉
Wow!!! Thats insane
Not sure if many know but 'Angry' filed his front two teeth as is clearly seen here - I am the proud owner of the 'Tatts' first two cassette releases, and I will NEVER give them the fuck away. They're going into my coffin when I pass to the other side of the grass. Australian icons - they heavily influenced so many US bands. 'Angry' is as Australian cut n dried as it gets. Losing his son was and remains painful beyond words, but he just powers on. Legend !!
I love Australia than any other country
Not during 2020 and 2021 when they were building camps. Sad but true.
Went to see them in the savoy in cork in the early 80s great memories 👍👍👍💚
Makes me wish I'd have grown up in Australia.
AWESOME
I remember this in primary school a million years ago they used to play it at little school discos funny 😂
Ohhhh yes! On my Ipod, love Rosey Tatts
Absolutely love this song ❤❤❤❤
Rockin' Rob Riley the secret spice that was the magic in this era of tatts.
I agree , hey take a look at juice on the loose clip, rob and geordie have a whole side comedy going on. Like you say a great era for the band.
Yes, he was a very worthy replacement for Mick Cocks. Can't beat the tracks in which he wrote the music.... Scarred For Life, Branded, and this one (and the others on that album, naturally). Scarred For Life should have been a hit in the US. It was probably the most accessible Tatts track for US FM rock radio at the time. Would have gone over well. But even the 'edgy' hard rock station in my metro wouldn't touch it. Why? Because they apparently had shit for music taste.
Saw them in82 great concert
THANKS TO BILLY HYDE DRUM CLINIC!!!! LOVE THE LATEST PEARL DRUMS!! GREAT BAND ROCKIN ROB RILEY ROCKS RRRR!!!!
Pissed off Rose Tatt doesn't get air time they deserve. Great Aussie band!!

I noticed this a few years back and now it grates me every time I hear it. Wonder why no one’s ever noticed or mentioned it?
I saw them in Toronto in December, 1982, at Maple Leaf Gardens. They were followed by Nazareth and Aerosmith. Quite the powerful show.
