A dear friend of ours and her husband moved to Easley last Summer. They are very happy there. My wife and I are going to visit them this Summer and check Easley out ourselves.
I know you shared this years ago, but you brought back so many wonderful memories! I moved year and years ago, but my dad used to take me to that Hardee's after school every day.
I live in Greer, about 40 minutes from Easley. When I lived in Easley back in 2010 there was nothing out that way. Now it’s growing more than ever. I love Upstate South Carolina

I live in Easley ..This city is booming . Homes going up like crazy . In fact I have one going up right in front of me and one soon beside me . They can't build them fast enough . I am a transplant from MD . I couldn't afford to live in MD any longer , The houses and property are way too expensive up north ... I scrolled through the comment section and someone was really knocking this city . Saying this area is racist and the police are out to get you .. I was wondering .. What fantasyland are you living in ?? .. I lived in Baltimore MD and this place doesn't even compare .. I have black neighbors and everyone is friendly with each other.here . I still pinch myself when I walk my yard and all I have for less money than I paid for rent for a one bedroom apartment. Where I couldn't even open my windows in the DC area . My sister lives in Howard County MD " Between DC and Baltimore and her house isn't much bigger than mine but yet cost 20 times more .. She came down and flipped out what 250-300 grand could buy . A five bedroom , 3 bath brand new 2 story on nearly an acre .. At the time of your publication .. I was in Upstate NY " Amsterdam " laying my father to rest . My sister lives there and the houses in that area are expensive ,.. In a lot of ways .. I hope not too many people find out about this part of the country . LOL .. . Mountains , Lakes . a Vibrant downtown of nearby Greenville .. This place is like paradise

If you are from upstate NY where small communities and ruralness is extensive, why do you consider Easley area to be so small and quaint? It's nothing compared to Upstate NY.
i was raised in easley most of my life and there is not a lie about how dirty the cops & judges are.. best advise find another state. lived here 1976 -2018
Vinyl siding is awful for all kinds of weather - hot or cold. It was developed to give those in the home remodeling business something to install, but it is never an improvement. It is ugly and fake siding, and traps moisture and insects to the structural components of one's house, thereby causing rot and decay were you can't see it happening. It should be outlawed.
