Ahhh, this one is great. Instant jump to the top 5 tracks, with the DJ club mix of Ccccan't You, Blue, The Spaceship, and Fetish. At one point I think I did manage to have all the records... including the French X-Extended, all those different releases. Still have the Club and Effects twelve, Fetish / Spooky, the 7" picture disc, and the Holy Grail.... that crazy rare Canadian vinyl full LP. I only ever saw it in one of three Orlando indie stores once, and you'd better believe I bought that sucker like a 49'r tearing out for northern California. Don't know why that album was never anywhere else. I mean, I used to order records from Adrian's in Essex air mail regularly as well... they'd never have it in. Crazy how it wasn't promoted / produced and pumped out more effectively. Thanks so much for this treat. 👾
I don't know what's more lame... that they didn't even let you know it was going to be released or that they didn't save you guys copies. Somebody dropped the ball. My copy is unique, because I kept all vinyl in Peaches crates, pvc sleeves to keep them mint. I had this lovely ferret named Ho-Ho who liked all things rubber and thicker "chewy" plastic. You know where this is going. So one day I find my little girl up on one of the crates, trying her little mightiest to drag a record out. Hundreds of records to work on, she picks yours, naturally 😂 So if I ever by chance run into you, I'll have you sign it... and you can draw a little heart around Ho-Ho's tiny pair of teeth marks. It's still mint condition in my book, M+ because of the little reminder of her, haha!
@@Crimeyfied They don't have any loyalty to artists especially when you leave the label. We have more stories like that! That's a great story about Ho-Ho very funny!! X
@@viciouspinkmusic Oh, man... I guess Parlophone turned on you. Ouch. Yeah, Ho-Ho the loveable dork ferret named after Alan Rickman's "Ho. Ho. Ho." in Die Hard liked VP as much as her daddy. I'll save the story about Bonzo the lop bunny dancing and spazzing only to S' Express' Superfly Guy for when we meet someday. My pet fam loved the bouncy music, lol
You can get it now online, or pink vinyl if you hunt like a champ online. There's also a Canadian vinyl LP [not sure if it ever made cassette, and doubt it made CD]. Get the digital copy at the very least, although the pink vinyl sure would be killer
The Canadian vinyl from the 80s didn't have the unreleased tracks and some alternate versions, btw. The recent digital / vinyl release has first time ever offerings.
Vicious Pink awesome! The label I’m referring to is here in the US, called Medical Records LLC, specializing in vinyl reissues of synth/techno 80s-today. Obscure to contemporary. I sometimes bring release ideas to the label head, Troy Wadsworth. We have collaborated on a few releases together. If any interest I can get a conversation started, just let me know :)
Has any of your songs ever been featured in a film...I know this is unreleased but it could easily be on an soundtrack to a film...Very atmospheric keyboards...love it...
@@viciouspinkmusic Here's a question for you.... I wish they were used as well; Fetish, Ccccan't You See, Blue, Spaceship, the Spooky cover... any number of tracks would rock on a soundtrack. Can you imagine Fetish in the Blade "bloodbath" scene prior to the New Order Confusion remix? Somebody should have put me in charge of soundtracks, damnit 😆 My question though was about the Aliens influence for your OG efforts. To me the spooky keyboard sounds the first 30 seconds or so of the Club Mix that run through the left channel of the mix are pure Aliens / haunting creepy synth in the vein of Jerry Goldsmith Aliens and early Shining / TRON Wendy Carlos. Were there any of your tracks that were very prominently focused to get those haunting keyboard sounds besides Ccccan't and [I can only assume] Facehugger? Thanks again, Brian and Josephine. HMU if you and your fam / friends ever travel to Orlando. I'd love to host you through some fun stuff at the great fam parks and whatever. You guys deserved a wider reception and recognition, the benefits that come with. 💖

That's great! We didn't know about the album release until years later and we never had copies! We think it was only released in Canada. XX

Thx for sharing! Very cool song.. Vicious Pink = legends of the 1980s underground!!!
I am so happy to hear this, thank you for sharing. I can't believe that Blue was never released, the quality of the songs are amazing.
Thank you.! We wonder how many more Artists had some of their music shelved by the record companies?..So sad. VPX.
@@viciouspinkmusic That is such a disgrace for sure!!!
i love all of the music you make 💋
Omg
Will this and/or others ever be released? Let me know if interested, I know a label that would take it on with a vinyl release!
Hopefully one day, we're working on it. Which label? VPX
